- the locking finger 10 is associated with a locking indicator 20 which, as visible on the figure 1 , protrudes from the plug 13 to be visible from the outside.
- the locking indicator 20 is integral with a rod 26 engaged in a central bore 21 of the locking finger 10.
- the rod 26 is extended by a fragile support 22 of reduced section which ends in a foot 23 which is secured to the locking finger 10 at the end 9 thereof by a rod 24.
- a thrust spring 25 extends around the rod 26 in a housing 27 of the locking finger 10 while resting on a bottom of the housing 27 and a shoulder of the indicator 10 to push the indicator 20 outwards. In the situation illustrated here, the rod 24 retains the locking indicator 20 against the thrust spring 25.
- the rod 3 can move in the body 2, which has the effect of allowing the sleeve 14 to move towards the locking position under the action of the return spring 15 to hold the locking finger 10 in position retracted, as illustrated in figure 3 .

- the rod 3 returns to the extended position, until the sleeve 14 is pushed against the spring 15 and thus allows the end 9 of the locking finger 10 to enter the groove 8 under the action of the locking spring 12 to lock the rod 3.

- the load coupled to the rod can exert on the rod 3 a significant force while the rod 3 is in the locked position.

This arrangement prevents the locking indicator from providing a locking indication when in practice, the rod 3 is released.
- the locking indicator 20 is used to actuate a return 30 carrying a target 31 which moves opposite a detector 32 between a position close to the detector 32, as illustrated in FIG. figure 6 , which corresponds to the locking indicator position, and a position remote from the detector 32, as illustrated in figures 7 to 9 , which corresponds to the unlocking indicator position, so that the detector 32 generates an electrical signal taking two distinct values, which makes it possible to distinguish the two witness positions.
- the reference 30 is articulated on a pivot 33 integral with the plug 13 and extending in an oblong opening 34 of the reference 30.
