Definitions

  • the present invention relates to an installation box for sanitary fittings according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • the installation box has a bottom box and a front component.
  • the position of the front component can be shifted relative to the bottom box, such that a front edge of the front component can be adjusted to an installation situation.
  • the object of the present invention is to specify an installation box which overcomes the disadvantages of the prior art.
  • an installation box for sanitary fittings comprises a side wall surrounding an interior space and a rear wall which closes off the interior space at the back and is adjacent to the side wall.
  • the interior is accessible via a front opening opposite the rear wall.
  • the sanitary fittings can be inserted into the interior via the front opening and the sanitary fittings are accessible in the event of maintenance via the front opening.
  • the at least one partition extends at least partially through the interior through and divides the interior at least into a fresh water space, in which at least one sanitary fitting for the fresh water supply is arranged, and into a waste water space, in which at least one sanitary fitting for the waste water removal is arranged.
  • the arrangement of the partition wall prevents waste water from flowing into the fresh water space or fresh water from flowing into the waste water space.
  • the arrangement of the partition thus results in the advantage that sanitary fittings for the fresh water supply and sanitary fittings for the drainage of waste water can be arranged in the same installation box.
  • the partition wall extends completely across the interior.
  • the expression “across the interior” is to be understood in such a way that the partition wall is connected with its end regions to the side wall. This means that there are no free ends at the side wall.
  • exactly one partition wall is arranged.
  • the two spaces mentioned above namely the fresh water space and the waste water space, are created.
  • more than one dividing wall is arranged, with a further dividing wall creating a functional space for accommodating functional elements that is separated from the fresh water space and/or from the waste water space.
  • the functional element can be an electronic functional element, for example, which is used to supply electrical energy and/or control signals to sanitary articles that are connected to the sanitary fittings.
  • the at least one dividing wall is located in the interior in such a way that it is impossible for leakage water, which flows out of the sanitary fitting for the drainage of waste water, to flow away from the waste water space into the fresh water space.
  • the partition wall extends through the interior space in such a way that dirty water cannot flow into the fresh water space.
  • the at least one partition wall extends from a lower one Wall section of the side wall to a top wall section of the side wall or a side wall section of the side wall.
  • the at least one partition wall extends away from a lower wall section of the side wall in the direction of the interior space and ends in the interior space with a free end.
  • the partition wall therefore preferably always starts from the lower wall section, which has the advantage that the fresh water space and the waste water space can be arranged essentially next to one another in the installed position. By arranging the two rooms next to each other, the risk of water flowing in can be fundamentally reduced.
  • bottom, side and top describe the position of the corresponding wall sections in the installed position.
  • the lower wall section lies below the upper wall section.
  • the lateral wall sections connect the lower and upper wall sections.
  • the dividing wall preferably adjoins the rear wall with its edge facing the rear wall over its entire length, the dividing wall being watertightly connected to the rear wall over its entire length with respect to water.
  • the partition wall preferably extends at least partially or completely through the interior with respect to its height as seen from the rear wall. This means that the dividing wall has essentially the same height as the side wall or that the height of the dividing wall essentially corresponds to the depth of the interior.
  • the partition extends from the rear wall to a plane extending through the front edges of the side walls.
  • the waste water space is preferably larger in volume than the fresh water space.
  • the overall size of the installation box can be optimized.
  • waste water elements usually have larger pipe cross sections, which is made possible without any problems by such an arrangement.
  • the waste water space can also be smaller in volume than the fresh water space.
  • An equally large training is also conceivable.
  • the dividing wall runs in the interior in such a way that any leakage water from the waste water space flows back into the waste water space when it comes into contact with the dividing wall. Furthermore, in the installed position, the partition wall has at least one section which is designed at an angle to the vertical. The inclination of the angularly inclined section is such that the sewage impinging on the angularly inclined section can flow back into the sewage space.
  • the partition wall is preferably oriented essentially at right angles to the rear wall as seen from the rear wall. As a result, there is no narrowing of one of the two rooms.
  • both the fresh water space and the waste water space each have at least one water outlet point, via which any leakage water can be removed from the fresh water space or the waste water space.
  • the water outlet point is preferably formed by a front edge of the installation box. Particularly preferred are two water outlet points in the area in which the lateral wall sections adjoin the lower wall section arranged. This means that two water outlet points are arranged at the ends on the lateral wall section or in the two corners of the installation box.
  • the lower wall section of the installation box has a reinforcing tab protruding essentially at right angles from the lower wall section, the reinforcing tab being broken through by the at least one water outlet point and/or the water outlet point being arranged at the end of the reinforcing tab.
  • the reinforcement flap serves as a mechanical reinforcement element for the lower wall section.
  • the reinforcement flap is preferably arranged in such a way that it extends into the interior space.
  • the reinforcing tab also serves as a retaining element or guide element for the leakage water.
  • the dividing wall is preferably led up to the reinforcement flap.
  • the water outlet points are preferably at the lowest point of the interior.
  • the partition wall is preferably designed over the entire area or without interruption. This means that the partition has no interruptions in the form of openings or similar structures.
  • the side wall preferably has feed-through openings for the passage of line sections into the fresh water space and into the waste water space.
  • the line pieces can be parts of fresh water lines or sewage lines.
  • the feed-through openings for the passage of line sections for the fresh water open directly into the fresh water space and the feed-through openings for the passage of line sections for the waste water open directly into the waste water space.
  • the through-openings are in an upper wall portion of the Arranged side wall and a lower wall portion of the side wall. This means that the line in the installation position opens out from above and from below into the waste water room or the fresh water room.
  • the installation box preferably has attachment points on lateral wall sections for attachment to a stationary mounting structure, such as a mounting frame.
  • the fastening points are preferably threaded openings into which a fastening screw is guided.
  • the front opening is preferably closed by a service door.
  • the partition preferably extends to the back of the service door.
  • a built-in box arrangement comprises a built-in box according to the above description and a fresh water distributor in the fresh water space and a shut-off valve and/or a siphon element in the waste water space.
  • FIG 1 a front view of an installation box 1 according to the present invention is shown.
  • FIG 2 a perspective view of the installation box 1 is shown. Based on these two figures, a preferred embodiment of the Installation box explained below.
  • the installation box 1 essentially serves to accommodate sanitary fittings.
  • the installation box 1 comprises a side wall 3 which extends around an interior space 2 .
  • the installation box 1 comprises a rear wall 4, which adjoins the side wall 3 at the rear and correspondingly closes off the interior space 2 at the rear.
  • the interior 2 is accessible via a front opening located opposite the rear wall 4 .
  • At least one partition 6 is arranged in the interior 2 .
  • the partition wall 6 extends transversely through the interior space 2 .
  • the interior space 2 is divided into a fresh water space 7 and a waste water space 8 by the partition wall 6 .
  • the fresh water space 7 is here to the left of the waste water space 8, with the partition wall 6 extending essentially in the vertical direction when viewed in the installed position.
  • At least one sanitary fitting 9 for supplying fresh water to a sanitary article which is not shown in the figure, is arranged in the fresh water space 7 .
  • a sanitary fitting is arranged in the sewage chamber 8 and is used for the sewage removal from the sanitary article.
  • the sanitary article is, for example, a washbasin.
  • An outlet fitting on the washbasin can be supplied with fresh water via the sanitary fittings arranged in the fresh water space 7 , while the waste water can be disposed of via the sanitary fittings arranged in the waste water space 8 .
  • a fresh water distributor 9 in the fresh water space 7.
  • the fresh water distributor 9 can be connected to the fresh water network, here to a hot water line and a cold water line, and can then be connected to an outlet fitting via corresponding fresh water lines 10.
  • the fresh water lines 10 are shown here only symbolically in the upper area of the installation box 1 .
  • the fresh water lines protrude into the installation box and are connected to the fresh water distributor 9 .
  • a shut-off valve 11 and a siphon element 12 are arranged in the sewage chamber 8 .
  • the shut-off valve 11 is used to shut off the flow of the sanitary article.
  • the shut-off valve 11 and the siphon element 12 are connected to waste water pipes 13 .
  • exactly one partition wall 6 is arranged, which divides the interior 2, as already mentioned, into the fresh water space 7 and the waste water space 8.
  • a further embodiment is also conceivable, in which more than one partition wall 6 is arranged.
  • a further partition wall ran to the right of the siphon element 12 in such a way that a third space can be created.
  • a third room can be designated as a functional room separated from the waste water room or from the fresh water room for accommodating functional elements.
  • the partition wall 6 extends from a lower wall section 14 of the side wall 3 to an upper wall section 15 of the side wall 3. This means that the partition wall 6 extends between two opposite wall sections 14, 15. In the installed position, these wall sections are 14, 15 typically horizontal. Alternatively, it would also be conceivable for the partition wall 6 to extend towards one of the lateral wall sections 16 of the side wall 3 . However, as a starting point it is advantageous if the partition wall 6 extends from the lower wall section 14 . This ensures that any leakage water is always collected at the lowest point, namely on the lower wall section 14 .
  • the partition wall 6 separates the fresh water space 7 from the waste water space 8 on the lower wall section 14 . This ensures that no waste water can get from the waste water space into the fresh water space on the lower wall section 14 .
  • the partition wall 6 is connected to the rear wall 4 over its entire length L with its edge 17 facing the rear wall 4 . This means that the edge 17 rests against the rear wall 4 over its entire edge length L.
  • the partition wall 6 is particularly preferably connected to the rear wall 4 over its entire length L in a water-tight manner. Alternatively, it would also be conceivable for the edge 17 to be in contact with the rear wall 4 via mechanical contact.
  • the partition wall 6 extends completely through the interior space 2 as seen from the rear wall 4 .
  • the height H is in the figure 2 drawn. Viewed from the rear wall 4 , the partition wall 6 is oriented essentially at right angles to the rear wall 4 .
  • the waste water space 8 is larger in terms of volume than the fresh water space 7.
  • larger cross-sections are required for the waste water lines than for the fresh water lines. With this training, these lines can be easily accommodated.
  • the corresponding sanitary fittings such as the shut-off valve 11 and the siphon element 12.
  • waste water space 8 can also be smaller than the fresh water space 7 in terms of volume.
  • the waste water space 8 and the fresh water space 7 can be of the same volume in terms of volume.
  • the dividing wall 6 runs in the interior 2 in such a way that any leakage water from the waste water space 8 flows back into the waste water space 8 if it comes into contact with the dividing wall 6 .
  • the partition wall 6 has two angled sections 18; but it is also possible to arrange only a single angular section.
  • the angled portion 18 is angularly inclined to the vertical V at an angle.
  • the incline of the angled section is such that any waste water that impinges on the section 18 designed to be angled at an incline can flow back into the waste water space 8 .
  • the incident waste water is in the figure 1 indicated by dashed arrows A.
  • the waste water can be in the form of drops, for example, and can then be fed into the waste water space 8 on the partition wall 6 or on the angled sections 18 accordingly.
  • both the fresh water space 7 and the waste water space 8 each have at least one water outlet point 19 . Any leakage water can be removed from the fresh water space 7 or the waste water space 8 via the water outlet point 19 .
  • the water outlet point 19 is arranged at each end in the area of the lateral wall sections 16 and the front opening 5 . The water outlet point 19 is at the lowest point of the fresh water space 7 and the waste water space 8.
  • the installation box 1 here has a reinforcing lug 26 which extends from the lower wall section 14 in the direction of the interior space 2 . Viewed from the interior 2 , the partition wall 6 is guided to the back of the reinforcing tab 26 and is in contact with the reinforcing tab 26 .
  • the reinforcing lug 26 provides mechanical reinforcement of the installation box 1 and also ensures that the leaking water is guided to the water outlet points 19 .
  • the side wall 3 has several feed-through openings 20 .
  • the side wall 3 has through-openings 20 in the lower wall section 14 in the region of the waste water space 8 .
  • a fresh water line can be routed into the fresh water space 7 by exiting through the feed-through openings 20 and can be connected there to the fresh water distributor 9 .
  • Also arranged in the upper wall section 15 is at least one feed-through opening 20 which opens into the fresh water space 7 .
  • the fresh water lines 10 can be routed into the fresh water space 7 here.
  • the waste water space 8 also has a through-opening 20 in the lower wall section 14 and in the upper wall section 15 .
  • Corresponding waste water lines can be routed through these feed-through openings 20 to the shut-off valve 11 or away from the siphon element 12 and into or out of the waste water chamber 8 .
  • the lead-through openings 20 are arranged in such a way that they open directly into the fresh water space 7 or into the waste water space 8 . This means that there is no line which gets from the fresh water space 7 into the waste water space 8 .
  • Sealing elements can be arranged between the through-openings and the lines.
  • the installation box has attachment points on the two lateral wall sections 16 .
  • the installation box can be connected to a mounting structure 23 via these fastening points.
