Definitions
- the invention relates to a punch with a cutting device and a method for using a cutting device as described in claims 1 and 17.
- a stamp with a box opener is already known, in which a blade with a sliding mechanism is arranged centrally.
- the blade and the actuating push rod are guided and connected to each other, so that when the push rod is pushed towards the outside of the housing, the blade is pushed out of the housing.
- the actuating element, or push rod is arranged parallel to the broad side of the blade and moves in the same direction as the blade's sliding direction.
- a disadvantage of this design is that such a cutting mechanism can only be used to a very limited extent with a few types of stamps without significantly increasing the stamp's size and thus incurring higher material requirements, higher costs, greater environmental impact, and visual or tactile disadvantages.
- the central arrangement of the blade and push rod not only requires a relatively large amount of space but also makes cutting very awkward.
- the edges of the stamp's top surface are particularly bothersome, as they restrict cutting to a relatively steep angle between the blade and the object being cut.
- Another disadvantage is that the force of the return spring acts at an angle on the extended blade, and with this solution, tilting is possible.
- a retractable blade is removable.
- the mechanism is similar to that in CN 214727594 U
- the blade is also recessed in the stamp in its starting position and can be moved out of the housing into the operating position for cutting letters and the like. The blade is pushed out in a straight line. Moving the actuating element and the associated blade.
- a disadvantage here is that the cutting device or the blade must be manually retracted into the housing by resetting the actuating element, which poses safety risks.
- such a solution is limited to use in a die with a narrow broad side or in a die with a wider broad side, as in the case of...
- This device is designed with a built-in knife or blade on the side.
- the mechanism is similar to a folding knife: the blade is grasped from the side and folded towards the top of the housing, locking into place when extended.
- a lever also located on the top, releases the blade, allowing it to be manually folded back into the housing.
- the disadvantages include the risk of injury from the blade's rigid locking mechanism when activated or extended. Even if the cutting edge of the blade is... Because the blade is relatively blunt, the risk of injury remains, especially for children. Furthermore, since safety regulations prohibit a sharp edge, its use is limited. According to the manufacturer, the blade is intended for opening envelopes and packages. Additional drawbacks include a large recess on the side of the stamp housing for gripping the handle. This significantly reduces the types of stamps where such a design is feasible without enlarging the housing or adding protrusions, which would result in increased material consumption, higher costs, greater environmental impact, and compromised product form or handling.
- the object of the invention is to create a punch with a cutting device and a method for cutting in which, on the one hand, the aforementioned disadvantages are avoided and, on the other hand, ease of use is increased.
- the object of the invention is solved by a punch with a cutting device in which the actuating means and the cutting device are arranged at opposite corner areas and are connected to each other via a pivoting mechanism.
- the advantage here is that cutting comfort for the user is significantly increased, especially in the preferred cutting position ( Fig. 1c
- the opposing arrangement allows even users with small hands to easily operate the cutting device or the operating button on larger stamp models. Furthermore, this arrangement improves the user's grip. Additional advantages include the versatile application of the cutting device to a wide variety of stamp types and designs, as this arrangement of the cutting device and its operation can be integrated relatively compactly into the upper part of the stamp. Sufficient space remains for the sometimes complex components of the paint application device.
- the pivoting mechanism consists of at least one pivoting lever, to which the cutting device is attached, and the actuating element is also advantageous, as this simplifies assembly.
- the pivoting mechanism being at least two-part, the pivoting lever can be installed in the die, and subsequently the actuating element or the external operating button can be attached or inserted. This allows for a one-piece upper part, thus simplifying assembly due to fewer components.
- a design where the cutting device is rigidly attached to the pivot lever is also advantageous. This reduces the risk of injury to the user and prevents unwanted wobbling during cutting. It is beneficial if the cutting device, when attached to the pivot lever, has little or no play, as this ensures precise cutting and blade guidance.
- the cutting device is preferably detachably connected to the pivot lever, but can also be permanently fixed, for example, molded or glued in place.
- a design in which the pivot lever has an opening for receiving the actuating element advantageously allows for simple assembly of the actuating element by insertion into the opening.
- a locking device is provided for securing the actuating element.
- the actuating element can be connected to the pivot lever inside the upper part from the outside.
- a design in which the actuating element or pivot lever has an extension on which a locking element for connecting the actuating element to the pivot lever is arranged is also advantageous, as this facilitates simple assembly.
- the pivot lever can be inserted into the piston housing and the actuating element with the extension inserted from the outside, or an extension arranged on the pivot lever can be pushed outwards from inside the piston housing or inwards from the outside, and the actuating element attached to it. can be attached.
- the arrangement of the locking element allows for assembly without complex tools.
- the pivot lever has a recess that is connected to the opening of the pivot lever to form a detent edge for the detent element of the actuating device, since this allows for a simple detent connection and easy assembly of the pivot mechanism.
- the detent connection is designed to be releasable.
- An advantageous design also includes a pivoting mechanism, particularly the pivoting lever, with a bearing axis for support in the upper part, arranged between the actuating means and the cutting device.
- the bearing axis is preferably located in the rear half of the pivoting mechanism, i.e., the half in which the actuating means is located. This advantageously achieves that by pushing the actuating means towards the underside of the punch, the cutting device pivots towards the top of the punch. The pivoting movement of the cutting device thus occurs essentially in the opposite direction to the pivoting movement of the actuating means, thereby reducing the risk of injury.
- a further advantage is that by varying the arrangement of the bearing axis, the force required to activate or actuate the actuating means on the one hand and the pivoting movement of the cutting device on the other can be changed or precisely adjusted during manufacturing.
- a bearing element for attaching and supporting the pivot lever to the upper part. This results in improved guidance of the pivoting movement and reduced wear of the pivoting mechanism. If one of the bearing elements is detachably arranged, further advantages arise in terms of simplified assembly. This allows the pivot lever to be installed in a one-piece upper part, since preferably one part of the bearing is formed on the upper part and the second part is formed by the bearing element. The pivot lever is then simply inserted into the first part in the upper part, and subsequently the bearing element, which preferably has detent elements, is inserted into the upper part and locked into place.
- an advantageous design includes a retaining or return element, particularly a return spring, which holds the cutting device or pivoting lever in its initial position opposite to the actuation position. This ensures automatic return of the cutting device to the upper part, thus preventing the risk of injury to the user.
- the cutting device In its initial position, the cutting device is preferably located inside the housing of the punch. The cutting device does not protrude beyond the outer surface of the punch. Therefore, the cutting device is only active when the user deliberately moves it into the actuation position and automatically pivots back into its initial position when the actuation is released.
- the holding or restoring element for the pivot lever is attached to the upper part or an insertion element, since this ensures that the holding or restoring element is attached to a part or element that is fixed in position and is thus always held in relation to it.
- the holding or restoring element is designed as a tension element or tension spring, but it can equally well be designed as a compressive element or compression spring.
- a further advantage is a design in which the pivot lever has a fastening means for attaching the holding or return element, which is preferably arranged on the underside of the pivot lever. This allows for simpler assembly, for example by using a tension spring as a return spring.
- the stamp is also advantageous to design the stamp as a roller stamp, self-inking stamp, flash stamp, or pre-ink stamp, wherein the stamp, in particular its upper part, preferably has a substantially rectangular, square, oval, or round cross-sectional shape.
- stamp in particular its upper part, preferably has a substantially rectangular, square, oval, or round cross-sectional shape.
- Another advantageous design involves arranging a roller or cylinder on the insertion element for applying ink, particularly in the form of letters, symbols, or images.
- This design with the ink dispensing device as a cylinder, prevents any moving parts from pivoting into the interior of the stamp, thus leaving more space for the cutting device.
- the ratio of the load arm to the force arm of the pivoting mechanism and/or the length and angle of the return spring can be chosen more freely, allowing for better adjustment and metering of the pivoting angle of the cutting device and the force required to activate the actuating device.
- a further advantage is a design in which a cap can be attached to the top to cover the paint application device, as this allows the paint application device to be covered with the cap during the cutting process and prevents the user from coming into contact with the paint of the paint application device while cutting.
- the frame structure of the upper part's housing is formed in one piece, as this makes the stamp housing and cutting mechanism more robust and durable.
- further elements or parts can be arranged on the upper part's housing, such as a viewing window displaying the impression image, etc.
- parts or surfaces can be removable, such as removable side panels, which allow for better access during assembly.
- the housing's frame structure itself is formed in one piece, i.e., not by, for example, two interlocking half-shells.
- the object of the invention is also solved by a method for using a cutting device of a punch, in which, upon activation of the actuating means this is pivoted against the direction of movement of the cutting device, whereby the actuating means is pivoted towards the closure cap or paint application device, wherein, when the actuating means is deactivated, it is returned to the starting position, in which the cutting device is arranged inside the upper part, via a holding or resetting means.
- the advantage of this is that, in particular, the opposing pivoting of the cutting device and the actuating means, and the resetting of the cutting device, avoids the risk of injury to the user and achieves simple and comfortable use and handling.
- Figure 1 shows an embodiment of a punch 1, in particular a roller punch, with a cutting device 2 which is arranged on an upper part 3 and can be activated by means of an actuating means 4, i.e. that when the actuating means 4 is actuated, the cutting device 2, which in the rest position is recessed in the housing or upper part 3 of the punch 1, is pushed out of the housing. is or protrudes from the upper part 3.
- the outer housing of the upper part 3 is preferably formed in one piece, but can also be formed from several parts, e.g., connectable half-shells, etc.
- the Fig. 1c and 5 show the cutting device 2 in the activated position, while the cutting device 2 is in the Fig.
- the actuating means 4 and the cutting device 2, in particular the opening for the cutting device 2, are arranged at opposite corner regions 5, 6 and are connected to each other via a pivoting mechanism 7 ( Fig. 2b
- the corner regions 5, 6 are formed by the area near the transition between a top surface 8 of the upper part 3 and an adjacent side surface 9.
- the actuating means 4 and the cutting device 2 can therefore be arranged at opposite end regions of the top surface 8 of the upper part 3, and/or on the immediately adjacent side surfaces 9 of the upper part 3, and/or directly in the corners formed by the top surface 8 and the adjacent side surface 9.
- the actuating means 4 and the cutting device 2 it is not necessary for the actuating means 4 and the cutting device 2 to be arranged in the same position in the corner regions 5, 6.
- the actuating means 4 is arranged largely on the side surface 9, whereas the cutting device 2, or rather the opening, is arranged largely in the end region of the top surface.
- the upper part 3 of the stamp 1, in particular the top surface 8 and/or the adjacent side surface 9, serves as a pressure or gripping area 10 for the user of the stamp 1 during the stamping process.
- an additional cutting device 11, preferably designed as a letter opener, can also be arranged on the upper part 3 of the stamp 1.
- Fig. 1a The stamp 1 is shown in its rest position, in which it is inactive with regard to the stamping process, as is the actuating means 4 for the cutting device 2, wherein a cap 12 may be arranged on the underside of the stamp 1.
- the optional, detachably connected cap 12 may preferably be arranged or provided to prevent the stamp ink from drying out or to protect an ink application device 13 ( Fig. 1b ) to protect against dust and dirt, or to achieve the exemplary effect shown in the embodiment to be able to set up the used roller or cylinder stamps securely on a flat surface, for example at the workplace or desk.
- Fig. 1b The punch 1 is shown in the punching position without the cap 12, whereby the actuating means 4 and thus the cutting device 2 are inactive during the punching process to avoid the risk of injury to the user of the punch 1.
- a receiving area 14 is formed on the underside of the punch 1, i.e., on the side of the punch 1 opposite the top 8 of the upper part 3, in which the ink application device 13 is arranged.
- Fastening means 15 can be arranged on the punch housing in the area of the ink application device 13 to secure the cap 12.
- the fastening means 15 on the punch 1 can preferably be formed by projections or recesses that are connected to correspondingly designed fastening means 16 ( Fig.
- the fastening element 15 on the punch 1 is designed as an inclined guide groove, in particular 6 such guide grooves, so that the closure cap 12 can be screwed onto the underside of the punch 1 by turning it with the fastening element(s) 16, which are designed as point-shaped projections.
- the fastening elements 15 and 16 can also be designed, for example, as a snap mechanism.
- FIG. 1c shows the punch 1 in the preferred cutting position with the actuating means 4 and the cutting device 2 activated.
- the actuating means 4 is thus moved along a preferably slot-shaped recess 17 or opening, whereby the cutting device 2 is pivoted or pushed out of a slot-shaped opening 18 towards the top 8.
- the punch 1 is arranged pivoted by more than 90° relative to the punch position.
- the cutting device 2 can be used to cut a wide variety of objects 19, such as paper, cardboard, films, packaging, etc.
- the actuating means 4 When the actuating means 4 is activated or operated, the cutting device 2 pivots out of the upper part 3 of the stamp 1 towards the top 8 or upwards, while the actuating means 4 pivots in the opposite direction, i.e., towards the ink application device 13 or the underside of the stamp 1.
- a sealing cap 12 is present, it is preferably attached or screwed on during the cutting process. in particular to prevent the user from coming into contact with the ink application device 13 while cutting.
- stamps there are other types of stamps where there is no risk of contamination even without a cap 12 (e.g., self-inking stamps). Fig. 9 and 11 ).
- Fig. 2a shows a top view of the punch 1 according to the invention with the cutting device 2 and the actuating means 3 and Fig. 2b as well as Fig. 3 a cut according to lines AA in Fig. 2a .
- the pivoting mechanism 7 is formed from at least one pivoting lever 20, to which the cutting device 2 is attached, and the actuating means 4.
- the pivoting lever 20 and the actuating means 4 are formed as a single piece.
- the pivoting mechanism 7, in particular the pivoting lever 20, has a bearing axis 21 so that when the actuating means 4 is activated or actuated towards the underside of the punch 1, the cutting device 2 can pivot towards the top of the punch 1.
- the bearing axis 21 is preferably arranged closer to the actuating means 4 than to the cutting device 2.
- the bearing axis 21 can be arranged along the entire length of the pivoting mechanism 7 located inside the housing, for example closer to the cutting device 2, e.g. in the central region of the pivoting mechanism 7. The closer the bearing axis 21 is positioned to the cutting device 2, the smaller the pivoting movement of the cutting device 2 is in relation to the pivoting movement of the actuating means 4.
- a retaining or resetting element 22, preferably designed as a return spring, can be arranged.
- This element is connected, or can be connected, on one side to the housing of the punch 1 or an insertion element 23 mounted therein, and on the other side to the pivoting mechanism 7, particularly to the pivot lever 20.
- the connection is preferably made via fastening means 24, 25.
- one of the fastening means 24, 25 can also be
- the retaining or resetting means 22 is omitted and fixedly connected on one side.
- the retaining or resetting means 22 is preferably attached to the pivoting mechanism 7 in the area of the cutting device 2, but can equally well be arranged at another point on the pivoting mechanism 7 between the bearing axis 21 and the cutting device 2.
- the cutting device 2 is preferably rigidly attached to the pivot lever 20.
- the pivot lever 20 is curved, and the cutting device 2 is arranged essentially at right angles to the pivot lever 20.
- the angled design of the pivot lever 20 provides, among other things, more space for the cutting device 2, particularly the blade.
- the pivot lever 20 can also be straight or designed with a different angle, just as the cutting device 2 can be arranged at a different angle to the pivot lever 20.
- the bearing axis 21 can be arranged at different positions of the pivoting mechanism 7, and the pivoting lever 20 and/or the cutting device 2 can be angled differently, and the position and force of the holding or resetting means 22 can also be varied, the pivoting movement, the angle of the cutting device 2 or the knife, and the force required to activate the actuating means 4 can be precisely metered or adjusted.
- bearing elements 26a, 26b for improved support and guidance of the bearing axis 21, bearing elements 26a, 26b, in particular bearing shells, can be arranged.
- the bearing element 26b is designed to be removable, especially in the case of a one-piece upper part 3.
- the pivotably arranged bearing axis 21 of the pivot lever 20 is supported by a split bearing arrangement using the bearing elements 26a, 26b, i.e., the bearing element 26a is preferably formed as a single piece in the upper part 3, into which the bearing axis 21 of the pivot lever 20 can be inserted, after which the further bearing element 26b is placed, so that the bearing axis 21 is completely supported in a bearing bushing consisting of the two bearing elements 26a, 26b.
- the bearing element 26b can also be formed in the housing of the punch 1, or a complete bearing receptacle can be formed in the housing. especially in the case of a half-shell design of the upper part 3 or with a lateral opening for inserting the bearing axis 21.
- the optionally arranged additional cutting device 11 is preferably formed on the side surface 9 of the upper part 3, in particular on the side surface 9 where the cutting device 2 is arranged in the upper region.
- the cutting device 11 is formed by a recess 27, in particular a slot-shaped recess 27, in the housing of the upper part 3 and a cutting element 28, in particular a blade, arranged inside the housing.
- the cutting element 28 is preferably positioned at a distance from the housing wall by means of a spacer element 29 and is arranged to pivot in the direction of the longitudinal extent of the slot-shaped recess 27, preferably to pivot horizontally.
- the cutting element 28 is preferably arranged on the optional insertion element 23 or directly on the inside of the upper part 3 of the punch 1. It is fixed to the insertion element 23 or to the upper part 3 in the punch housing, in particular by means of a fastening element 30, which is axially designed and thus allows a pivoting movement. To limit the pivoting movement of the cutting element 28, limit stops can be arranged on the insertion element 23 or on the inside of the housing.
- the cutting device 11 is therefore preferably designed as a letter opener, whereby when an envelope is inserted into the recess 27 and pulled through along the longitudinal extent of the recess 27, the cutting element 28 pivots slightly and slits the envelope.
- the arrangement of the spacer element 29 and the pivotable mounting of the cutting element 28 prevent the cutting element 28 from jamming.
- the ink application device 13 is attached to the underside of the insertion element 23 within the housing of the stamp 1.
- the insertion element 23 has cup-shaped projections 31 ( Fig. 1b ) the axial extensions 32, 33 of the ink application device 13, which are integrally formed on an axial body 35, in particular detachably encompass.
- Such shell-shaped projections 31 can of course also be arranged directly on the housing of the punch 1, in particular on the upper part 3.
- One of the two axial extensions 32, 33 of the ink application device 13, in the illustrated embodiment the axial extension 32 preferably has a larger diameter than the other axial extension 33 and a Opening 34 for filling or refilling with paint.
- the insertion element 23 preferably comprises the cutting means 28, spacer element 29, projections 31, and the fastening means 25.
- the holding or resetting means 22 can also be attached to or arranged directly on the insertion element 23. However, it is also possible to form one or all of these means and elements in the upper part 3 or to omit the insertion element 23 entirely.
- the insertion element 23 is preferably designed such that a bearing surface 37 and a locking element 38 are provided on the insertion element 23, with a bearing surface 39 and a locking surface 40 being formed in or on the upper part 1. When the support surface 37 contacts the support surface 39, the locking element 38 engages with the locking surface 40.
- the insertion element 23 is thus held against displacement into the receiving area 14 via the support surfaces 37, 39 and against displacement towards the underside of the punch 1 via the locking connection or the locking element 38, which is preferably designed as a locking lug.
- the locking element 38 is preferably designed to be releasable.
- FIG. 5 Figure 2 shows the cutting device 2 and the actuating means 4 in the activated and actuated positions, respectively.
- the pivoting movement can be seen as an example from the combined view of the Fig. 2b and Fig. 5
- the force exerted by the holding or restoring means 22 preferably acts in the opposite direction to the pivoting direction of the cutting device 2.
- This solution of the pivoting movement and restoring ensures that, when cutting an object 19, the cutting device 2 exerts a pressure force opposite to the restoring force of the holding or restoring means 22, thus preferably holding the cutting device 2 in its actuated position. This reduces the force required to actuate or hold the actuating means 4.
- the cutting device 2 pivots in the opposite direction.
- a pivoting mechanism 7 or pivoting lever 20 is provided.
- a contact surface 41a is provided, which, particularly when the cutting device 2 is extended or activated, comes into contact with an inner surface 41b of the upper part 3, especially the top surface 8 inside the punch 1, and limits the cutting device 2 from pivoting further outwards.
- a stop surface 42 formed in the end region of the slot-shaped opening 18, can limit the cutting device 2 against the pressure force during cutting. This provides additional stability to the cutting device 2.
- Figs. 6 and 7 show the pivoting mechanism 7 without components of the punch 1, wherein Fig. 6 an exploded view of the pivoting mechanism 7 together with the parts preferably arranged thereon, such as the bearing means 26b and the holding or restoring means 22, can be seen and Fig. 7
- the swivel mechanism 7 with attached swivel lever 20 and cutting device 2 is represented.
- the pivoting mechanism 7 preferably consists of the pivoting lever 20 and the actuating means 4, although it may of course also have additional parts or be divided into different or additional parts. A one-piece design is also possible.
- the cutting device 2 is arranged in one end region 43 of the pivoting mechanism 7 or pivoting lever 20, and the actuating means 4 is arranged in the opposite end region 44.
- the pivoting lever 20 preferably has a recess or opening 45 on its end face in the end region 44 and a further recess 49 on a side surface 46 or on a top surface 47 or bottom surface 48, wherein the opening 45 is connected to the recess 49.
- a detent edge 50 is formed by the arrangement of the opening 45 and recess 49 on different sides of the pivoting lever 20 or by the openings/recesses being oriented at an angle to each other.
- the fact that the actuating element 4 preferably has a projection 51 on which a detent element 52 can be arranged enables a simple connection with the pivot lever 20.
- the projection 51 of the actuating element 4 is inserted into the opening 45, with the projection 51 being pushed up to the adjacent recess 49, so that the detent projection or the detent element 52 engages on the detent edge 50 and thus connects the actuating element 4 to the pivot lever 20.
- the actuating element 4 is connected to the pivot lever 20 in another way, for example by gluing, in which case the recess 49 and The detent element 52 can be omitted.
- the extension 51 is formed not on the actuating means 4 but on the pivot lever 20.
- the actuating means 4 is formed in particular by the actuating button, whereby, even in such a solution, detent elements are preferably formed on the actuating button and on the extension 51, or the connection of the actuating means 4 to the pivot lever 20 can be realized by bonding.
- the bearing axis 21 arranged on the pivot lever 20 is, as better seen from Fig. 7
- the bearing axis 21 is preferably arranged in the rear half of the pivoting mechanism 7, particularly in the area between the center of the pivoting mechanism 7 and the end region of the actuating means 4 or the actuating surface for the user.
- the bearing axis 21 is formed at an angle of essentially 90° to the longitudinal direction of the pivot lever 20 and preferably has a round cross-sectional shape.
- Bearing means 26a, 26b are provided to receive projections 53 of the bearing axis 21.
- one of the bearing means 26a is designed as a bearing shell or partial shell, in particular a half shell, and is arranged in the upper part 3 of the punch 1 ( Fig.
- this fixing element 54 has, in particular, a projection.
- both bearing elements 26a, 26b in the punch 1 or to design both to be removable it is possible to form a bearing shell in the upper part 3 of the punch 1, which largely (except for an insertion opening) or completely encompasses the projections 53 of the bearing axis 21.
- the cutting device 2, arranged in the front region of the pivoting mechanism 7 or pivoting lever 20, is preferably detachably connected to the pivoting lever 20.
- the pivoting lever 20 preferably has a recess 55 into which the cutting device 2 can be inserted or pushed, and further a locking element 56 which engages with or is connected to a locking receptacle 57 on the cutting device 2, in particular a recess.
- the locking element 56 preferably has a movable element 58 with a projection 59 ( Fig. 2b ) on.
- guide or limiting means 60 can be arranged in the recess 55. This allows a fixed arrangement of the cutting device 2 in the pivot lever 20 to be achieved, so that it is fixed in its position in the pivot lever 20.
- the movable element 58 holds the cutting device 2, particularly at the detent receptacle 57, via the projection 59. This secures the cutting device 2 against falling out in the direction opposite to its insertion into the pivot lever 20.
- the cutting device 2 can preferably be changed by pushing the projection 59 out of the detent receptacle 57.
- the recess 55 is located on the upper surface 47 in the front region of the pivot lever 20. However, it can also be located directly in the end region 43 on the face of the pivot lever 20.
- the holding mechanisms for the cutting device 2 in the pivot lever 20 can be designed differently and/or the cutting device 2 can be permanently connected to the pivot lever 20, for example, by gluing. When bonding, the locking device 56, the locking receptacle 57, the movable element 58 including projection 59 and guide or limiting device 60 can also be omitted.
- the pivot lever 20 can be curved along its longitudinal axis. It can also be straight, have multiple folded edges, or be arc-shaped. Preferably, however, the pivot lever 20 has a contact surface 41a, which serves in particular as a contact surface 41a inside the punch 1. Because the contact surface 41a rests against the inside of the upper part 3 of the punch 1, the pivoting movement is limited when the actuating means 4 is activated or operated. Providing the contact surface 41a not only limits the maximum extension of the cutting device 2, but also achieves greater stability, especially when cutting an object 19 (as in Fig. 1c (shown), because the user pressing down here results in an increased force acting on the pivoting mechanism 7 or pivot lever 20.
- the fastening element 24 for the holding or resetting element 22 is preferably attached in the front area on the underside 48 of the pivoting mechanism 7 or pivot lever 20.
- the fastening element 24 can also be attached in other areas of the pivot lever 20, for example on the side surfaces 46 or the top surface 47.
- the holding or resetting element 22 is designed as a spring element, in particular a tension spring.
- the holding or resetting element 22 can also be designed as a compression spring and, for example, be arranged or attached to the top surface 47 of the pivot lever 20.
- the holding or restoring means 22 can, for example, be configured as an upwardly directed tension spring or a compression spring acting from below.
- Fig. 8 To better illustrate the preferred arrangement and design of the cutting device 2, a rendering of a cutting device 2 installed in the upper part of the punch 1 is shown, in particular partial surfaces of the upper part 3 are shown transparently and the cutting device 2 is shown in its initial or inactive position, in which the cutting device 2 is arranged completely recessed in the housing of the punch 1.
- the punch 1 with cutting device 2 functions in such a way that by sliding the actuating element 4 from its rest position, according to Figure 1a , into its activation position, according to Fig. 1c
- the pivot lever 20 is pivoted via the bearing axis 21, so that the cutting device 2 attached to the pivot lever 20 is pivoted outwards from the upper part 3. If the cutting device 2 is no longer needed, the actuating element 4 can be released, so that, due to the holding or return element 22, the cutting device 2 is drawn into the interior of the upper part 3, whereby, due to the bearing axis 21, the actuating element 4 is pivoted into its rest position.
- stamps 1 with activated cutting device 2 or actuated actuating means 4 are shown.
- the cutting device 2 according to the invention can be designed or provided for a wide variety of stamps 1, namely for different types of stamps, such as self-inking stamps 1 ( Fig. 9 , Fig. 11 ), Pre-ink stamps 1, especially flash stamps 1 ( Fig. 10 ), roller stamp ( Fig. 1b ) etc., as well as stamps 1 in different designs, such as rectangular or square stamps 1 ( Fig. 9 , Fig. 10 ), oval or round stamps 1 ( Fig. 11 ).
- the different types and designs of the stamps 1 preferably have the upper surface 8 of the upper part 3 in the upper end area and in the opposite end area or in the receiving area 14 the color application device 13, wherein the cutting device 2 together with swivel mechanism 7 is preferably arranged in the upper end area.
- the application of the cutting device 2 of the punch 1, in which the cutting device 2 and an actuating means 4 are arranged in the upper part 3 in a movement-connected manner and preferably a closing cap 12 for closing the ink application device 13 is attached to the punch 1, is carried out such that when the actuating means 4 is activated or actuated, it is pivoted against the direction of movement of the cutting device 2, whereby the actuating means 4 is pivoted in the direction of the closing cap 12 or ink application device 13, wherein when the actuating means 4 is deactivated, it is returned to the initial position, in which the cutting device 2 is arranged inside the upper part 3, by means of a holding or return means 22.
