Definitions
- the present invention relates to a holder for attaching a surface element of a sun, insect, rodent, dust, and/or pollen protection device to a frame of a window or door.
- the holder has a connection area for connection to the surface element.
- the holder forms a fastening space into which a section of the frame is to be inserted.
- the present invention relates to a sun, insect, rodent, dust, and/or pollen protection device, comprising a surface element for covering an opening of a window or door and at least one holder for attaching the surface element to a frame of the window or door.
- Such a sun, insect, rodent, dust, and/or pollen protection device is typically attached to a window or door to protect the interior space defined by the window or door, particularly the interior of a building.
- the flat, extending surface element of the sun, insect, rodent, dust, and/or pollen protection device comprises a covering material, particularly designed as a mesh, mesh fabric, knitted fabric, and/or knitted fabric, as well as a surface element frame that holds and surrounds the covering material.
- the surface element frame can be designed as a tensioning frame.
- Brackets of the type mentioned above can be used to attach the surface element to the frame.
- a bracket is often designed as a single piece and made, for example, from flat steel.
- the bracket can have a Z-shape in cross-section, where the Z-shape refers to a three-leg arrangement in which each of the three legs is arranged at right angles to the adjacent leg and in which two outer legs branch off in opposite directions and at opposite ends from a middle leg.
- One of the outer legs forms the connection area for a particularly firm connection to the surface element.
- the connection area can, for example, have recesses for a screw connection to the surface element.
- the other two legs delimit, in particular together with the surface element, the fastening space into which a section of the frame is to be inserted.
- brackets of the type described above are only suitable for certain frame thicknesses, which is why these brackets are relatively inflexible in their use. Furthermore, the connection of such a bracket to the frame is often unstable and results in undesirable movement of the panel element and the associated noise. Furthermore, sun, insect, rodent, dust and/or pollen protection devices are relatively complex to install with such brackets. Due to the often fixed connection between the bracket and the panel element, such brackets regularly result in damage to the panel element, in particular the panel element frame, for example due to a The risk of screw penetration is associated with this. Furthermore, in the case of brackets that are screwed to the panel element, these brackets are only suitable for use with panel elements that allow such screwing. The application range of the brackets and the flexibility of the sun, insect, rodent, dust, and/or pollen protection device are therefore limited.
- the present invention is therefore based on the object of providing a holder in which the disadvantages of the prior art are at least partially reduced. Furthermore, the present invention is an object of providing a sun, insect, rodent, dust, and/or pollen protection device in which the disadvantages of the prior art are at least partially reduced.
- the holder has a two-part construction with a separate first holder part and a separate second holder part which, in the mounted position of the holder, engages with the first holder part.
- the first mounting part and the second mounting part are designed to be adjustable relative to one another in an adjustment direction in order to adapt the mounting space to different frame thicknesses.
- the surface element is preferably arranged on the outside of the frame, i.e., on a side of the frame facing away from an interior space defined by the window or door.
- the connecting area in particular the part of the mounting device forming the receiving space, is preferably designed such that it is arranged on the outside of the frame when the mounting device is in the mounted position.
- the frame is understood to be the permanently mounted frame of the window or door.
- the frame preferably has a web protruding towards the center of the frame, which, viewed from the outside of the window or door, partially conceals a sash of the window or door.
- the frame web is to be inserted into the mounting space.
- the frame thickness preferably refers to the extension of the frame web in the adjustment direction.
- the mounting space is understood to be a space that is bounded on at least two sides but not closed.
- the adjustment direction is in particular a double direction, along which the first support part and the second support part are adapted to the fastening space are adjustable both toward and away from each other.
- the adjustment direction is perpendicular to a plane spanned by the surface element.
- the adaptation of the fastening space is understood to mean a change in the extent of the fastening space in the adjustment direction, i.e. in particular along a direction running perpendicular to the surface element plane in the mounted position of the bracket.
- the mounting parts are preferably designed to be adjustable relative to one another, allowing them to be connected to one another in different positions.
- the boundaries of the fastening space located in the adjustment direction can be changed by adjusting the mounting parts, in particular, they can be displaced toward one another and/or away from one another in the adjustment direction.
- the bracket has a length of 10 millimeters to 70 millimeters, preferably 20 millimeters to 60 millimeters, particularly preferably 30 millimeters to 50 millimeters, and especially 40 millimeters, in a direction transverse to the adjustment direction and in particular parallel to a longitudinal extension of the frame profile. This makes the bracket particularly stable.
- the bracket according to the invention is therefore suitable for attachment to frames of different thicknesses and is therefore flexible. It is also easy to install.
- the bracket also allows for a detachable, damage-free, and/or residue-free connection to the frame.
- the connecting region forms a receiving space into which a section of the surface element is to be inserted, in particular wherein the receiving space is a receiving groove delimited, in particular, on three sides by the first mounting part.
- the receiving space is understood to be a space delimited on at least two sides.
- the part of the mounting forming the receiving space preferably forms a clip for a particularly clamped connection to the mounting part.
- the first mounting part forms a receiving stop that delimits the receiving space, up to which the surface element can be inserted in its insertion direction through a receiving opening of the receiving space opposite the receiving stop.
- the receiving stop is formed, in particular, by a base of the first mounting part.
- the first holding part has an additional, in particular parallel to the receiving stop, stiffening the receiving stop
- a stiffening base is provided.
- the stiffening base is preferably connected to the receiving stop, in particular via connecting webs.
- the stiffening base is preferably arranged at a distance from a base of the first mounting part that forms the receiving stop.
- the stiffening base further stiffens the base forming the receiving area. If the mounting is heated, for example due to solar radiation, undesirable deformation of the mounting, in particular deformation of the receiving space, is at least reduced. Thus, the part of the mounting forming the receiving space is more stable.
- the mounting of the surface element is comparatively stable and secure.
- the receiving space has an at least partially curved and, in particular, circular-arc-shaped contour in cross-section.
- the cross-section is viewed transversely to a longitudinal center axis of the receiving space or of a frame profile present in the installed state.
- the curved, in particular circular-arc-shaped, shape of the receiving space is advantageous for the particularly form-fitting reception of surface elements with surface element frames that are also curved in cross-section, in particular circular-arc or circular. This is the case, for example, with surface element frames made of a wire with a circular cross-section.
- An opening into the receiving space preferably accounts for a proportion of less than 50 percent, particularly preferably less than 40 percent, further particularly preferably less than 30 percent of a circumference of the receiving space.
- the receiving space is open in cross-section, in particular wherein a boundary section of the first holding part delimiting the receiving space has an angled handle section at one of its ends.
- the receiving space which is open in cross-section, enables, as described above, insertion of the surface element into the receiving space through the particularly lateral opening of the receiving space in its insertion direction.
- the particularly circular arc-shaped boundary section of the first holding part delimits the receiving space. At the end of this boundary section, the handle section runs away from this boundary section, in particular at an angle thereto.
- the handle section preferably runs away from the boundary section in a direction directed away from the frame in the mounted position. In the mounted position, the handle section has an angle to the surface element of, in increasingly preferred order, between 0 degrees and 90 degrees, 0 degrees and 45 degrees, or 0 degrees and 30 degrees.
- the receiving space of the elastically deformable first holding part can be easily deformed via the grip section, and a clamping connection between the first holding part and the surface element can be established or released.
- a grip section can serve as an insertion ramp for the surface element into the receiving space, thus preventing damage to the surface element.
- the grip section enlarges the surface area of the first holding part that can be brought into contact with the surface element, which in turn Damage to the surface element caused by comparatively small, sharp-edged sections of the first mounting part can be avoided.
- at least one edge of the handle section facing the surface element can be formed with a rounded or chamfered portion.
- the first mounting part has a constriction in the receiving space for securing the surface element in the mounted position.
- the constriction narrows the receiving space at least in some areas, particularly in the adjustment direction.
- a section of the surface element, in particular the preferably present surface element frame, is thus secured in a region of the receiving space delimited by the constriction upon insertion into the receiving space after passing through the constriction.
- the end point is preferably formed by at least one additional web projecting into the receiving space or at least one bulge of the mounting parts delimiting the receiving space.
- the part of the mounting forming the constriction in particular a wall delimiting the receiving space and forming the constriction, is designed to be at least partially elastically bendable.
- the constriction can be temporarily enlarged to allow passage through the section of the surface element to be secured and, after passing through the section to be secured, reduced again to a smaller size, particularly its original size.
- the size of the constriction in the adjustment direction is, in particular, smaller than the extent of the section of the surface element to be fixed, in particular the surface element frame thickness, in this direction.
- the holder is designed for a locking connection with the surface element. The connection between the bracket and the surface element is therefore damage-free and secure. Unintentional detachment of the bracket from the surface element is prevented.

- the bracket is comparatively easy to install.
- a receiving opening of the receiving space and an insertion opening of the fastening space are arranged on opposite sides of the bracket.
- an insertion direction of the surface element to be inserted into the receiving space is opposite to an insertion direction of the frame to be inserted into the fastening space. This increases the ease of installation of the bracket.
- the fastening space is delimited on a first side by the first holding part and on a second side opposite the first side by the second holding part.
- the first side and the second side are preferably opposite one another in the adjustment direction.
- the first side and the second side are preferably each arranged adjacent to the central side forming the fastening stop.

- the first mounting part and the second mounting part are slidably connected to one another in the adjustment direction to adapt the mounting space to different frame thicknesses.
- the parts of the mounting that delimit the mounting space, in particular the first mounting part and the second mounting part are slidably connected to one another in the adjustment direction when the mounting is in the mounted position. This provides a simple, movable connection between the mounting parts.
- the second mounting part has a holding arm extending transversely to the adjustment direction, which, when the mounting is in the mounted position, is designed to engage over the frame on the side facing away from the surface element.
- Transverse is understood to mean either diagonally or vertically.
- the frame In the mounted position of the mounting part, the frame is engaged over, in particular at least in certain areas. This provides a simple connection to the frame.
- a part of the retaining arm protrudes relative to a remainder of the retaining arm in the direction towards the center of the fastening space and is particularly designed to at least partially encompass a seal arranged on the inside of the frame in the mounted position of the holder.
- the seal is preferably designed as a stop seal for a stop of the window or door sash on the frame.
- the protruding part of the retaining arm preferably protrudes increasingly with increasing distance from the remainder of the second retaining part.
- the retaining arm is in Curved or angled toward the center of the mounting space, meaning the mounting space initially widens from the insertion opening. The retaining arm thus hooks onto the seal of the frame.
- the connection between the bracket and the frame is particularly secure.
- the retaining arm can be designed to extend, in particular, toward the center of the fastening space.
- the retaining arm can be curved, at least in sections.
- the retaining arm in the mounted position, can follow the circumference of the seal, at least in sections, and in this section, can bear against it in a form-fitting manner.
- the retaining arm has at least one projection, particularly designed as a rib, on its side facing the fastening space for improved connection to the frame. This improves adhesion between the bracket and the frame.

- the connection of the holding parts which is in particular designed as a latching connection, is preferably fixed to one another and an unintentional release of the connection is prevented.
- at least a part of the encompassing holding part is designed to be elastically bendable for adjusting the holder. By elastically bending, this part can create space for the movement of the other holding part and thus for adjustment. In this way, a secure connection of the holding parts and simple adjustability are realized.
- one of the holding parts has at least one first locking element formed integrally therewith and the other holding part has several second locking elements formed integrally therewith for adjustable locking connection with the first locking element.
- the first holding part, in particular the first connecting section has at least one first locking element, in particular designed as a locking lug.
- the second holding part, in particular the second connecting section preferably has a plurality of second locking elements, each designed as a locking lug.

- At least one of the locking elements of one of the holding parts is adjustably engaged with at least one other of the locking elements of the other holding part.
- the locking elements preferably prevent the holding parts, in particular the sides delimiting the fastening space, from moving away from one another along the adjustment direction.
- the locking connection can thus be installed particularly quickly and easily. In addition, it allows particularly quick and easy adaptation to different frame thicknesses.
- the mounting part with a plurality of second locking elements formed integrally therewith, is designed to be shortened, particularly in the adjustment direction.

- the surface element 4, which in sections has an extension in this direction that exceeds the size of the constriction 36 in the adjustment direction 22, in particular the thickness of the surface element frame, is held in the mounted position by the bulges 37 in the receiving space 24.
- the surface element frame 13 is thus held in the receiving space 24.
- the constriction 36 as shown in Figs. 6 and 7 shown, are formed by webs 39 projecting into the receiving space 24.
- the webs 39 are inclined in the insertion direction 3 of the surface element 4, so that insertion of the surface element 4 is facilitated and detachment of the first holding part 16 from the surface element 4 counter to the insertion direction 3 is made more difficult.
- the second locking elements 64 are arranged at an end of the first mounting part 16 lying in the adjustment direction 22.
- the first mounting part 16 in this case has at least one separating aid 74 designed as a notch.
- the separating aid 74 is arranged between two second locking elements 64 in the adjustment direction 22. This allows the first mounting part 16 to be easily shortened at the point marked by the separating aid 74.
- the mounting 2 can thus be flexibly adapted to relatively small frame thicknesses. Figs.
- first mounting part 16 with an additional stiffening base 34 arranged parallel to the receiving stop 26 and stiffening the receiving stop 26.
- the part of the first mounting part 16 forming the receiving space 24 is particularly stable.
- the outer side, which is adjacent to the frame 8 (cf. Fig. 3 ) in the mounted position facing away from the side 29 of the receiving space 24 has an increased wall thickness relative to the rest of the holder 2.
- the first mounting part 16 and the second mounting part 18 each have at least one first locking plane 66 with at least one first of the respective locking elements 62, 64 and at least one second locking plane 68 with at least one second of the respective locking elements 62, 64.
- the connection of the mounting parts to one another is thus particularly secure.
- Figs. 10 and 11 show an embodiment of a first holding part 16 with a central web 76 running in the adjustment direction 22 and two locking planes 66, 68 arranged on opposite sides of the central web 76.
- Each of the locking planes has a plurality of second locking elements 64.
- the first support part has a support element 78 formed integrally therewith and in particular designed as a web for resting on the frame 8 (cf. Fig. 3 ) on its side parallel to the adjustment direction 22.
- both mounting parts 16, 18 preferably have a defined stop on the frame 8 transverse to the adjustment direction 22.
- a first locking element 62 is provided for each locking plane 66, 68.
- the second mounting part 18 has two walls arranged parallel to one another, each of which forms one of the locking planes 66, 68.
- the first locking elements 62 of the locking planes 66, 68 face one another.
- the first mounting part 16 can be arranged between the two walls of the second mounting part 18.
- the Figs. 16 and 17 show a further second mounting part 18 with a plurality of locking planes 66, 68, wherein at least one of the locking planes 66, 68, in this case the second locking plane 68, has a plurality of first locking elements 62.
- the first locking elements 62 can be arranged spaced apart from one another in the adjustment direction 22 such that, in the mounted position of the mounting 2, at least one of the second locking elements 64 (cf. Fig. 3 ) is arranged therebetween and is not engaged with the first locking elements 62.
- Figs. 18 and 19 show a further second support part 18 with several locking planes 66, 68, wherein each of the locking planes 66, 68 has a plurality of first locking elements 62.
- the connection of the support parts 16, 18 to one another is thus particularly secure.
- Figs. 20 and 21 show a further embodiment of a holder 2 according to the invention with a first holder part 16 and a second holder part 18.
- a boundary section 82 of the first mounting part 16 which here extends in a circular arc shape, forms a receiving space 24 with a circular arc-shaped boundary or contour in cross-section.
- the boundary section 82 has a handle section 84.
- This handle section 84 serves both as an insertion ramp for gently inserting the surface element 4 into the receiving space 24 and for enlarging a surface in contact with the surface element 4, thereby protecting the surface element 4 from damage.
- the first holding part 16 At a section of the first holding part 16 which is to be arranged in particular parallel to the surface element 4 and from which a support element 78 extends in the direction directed towards the fastening space 14, the first holding part 16 in the present case has a taper on the side facing the receiving space 24, ie facing away from the fastening space 14, and is thus designed to be particularly material-saving.
- the second holding part 18 has a holding arm 50 which is curved in this case and which is designed to at least partially encompass a seal 54 arranged on the inside of the frame 8 (cf. Fig. 3 ) in the mounted position of the bracket 2 increasingly extends in the direction towards the center of the fastening space 14, here in particular being curved in this direction.
- the holding arm 50 several, here four, projections 58 for improved grip on the seal 54. This ensures that the bracket 2 fits particularly securely on the frame 8.
- the holder 2 has Figs. 20 and 21 a limiting element 86 designed as a separate holding element of the holder 2 (for improved clarity in Fig. 20 (shown transparently) to limit any unwanted displacement of the mounting parts 16, 18 relative to one another transversely to the adjustment direction 22 and parallel to the frame profile.
- the limiting element 86 is designed here as an approximately C-shaped clip and encloses the mounting parts 16, 18 on four sides, here at the top, left, right, and in sections at the bottom.
- the second mounting part 18 here has a web running in the adjustment direction 22, in particular a curved or arcuate web, which engages over the first mounting part 16 in the connecting section 60, in particular on the side facing the center of the frame 8.
- the mounting 2 is seamless and advantageously smooth in a contact area with a door or window sash.
- the first mounting part 16 is formed with a greater material thickness, in particular a wall thickness, relative to the second mounting part 18, in particular at least in the limiting section 82, and is thus advantageously designed with regard to the loads occurring during operation of the mounting 2.
