Abstract

Una estructura de vidrio aislante que incorpora medios de apantallamiento para el sol caracterizada por la combinación de un marco metálico que sirve como un miembro separador entre dos láminas incluidas en la estructura de vidrio aislante y montadas herméticamente dentro de ranuras de un miembro de caucho que se extiende circunferencialmente, la cual está provista de un miembro lateral en forma de canal, el interior del cual aloja una varilla o barra montada a rotación que lleva una película de apantallamiento contra el sol movible verticalmente y conectada a un motor eléctrico dispuesto dentro de la zona herméticamente cerrada de la estructura de vidrio aislante, teniendo el citado miembro de canal del marco metálico una hendidura que está vuelta hacia el interior de la estructura de vidrio aislante y a través de la cual esta destinada a pasar, la película de apantallamiento contra el sol cuando es impulsada hacia arriba o hacia abajo, estando unida dicha película de apantallamiento contra el sol, por su extremo libre, a una barra, preferiblemente de metal, que sigue el movimiento vertical de dicha película de apantallamiento contra el sol; porque los miembros laterales verticales del marco metálico, están provistos de ranuras para guiar la barra sujeta o al extremo inferior de la película de apantallamiento contra el sol; y porque la varilla giratoria lleva la película de apantallamiento contra el sol y el motor eléctrico están interconectados por medio de un acoplamiento elástico.
