PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA EXTRACCION Y AISLAMIENTO DEL PRINCIPIO ACTIVO REGENERADOR EPIDERMAL DE LA MIMOSA TENUIFLORA Y COMPOSICION COSMETICA QUE LO CONTIENE. LA CORTEZA DE LA MIMOSA TENUIFLORA CONTIENE UN COMPUESTO CON PROPIEDADES REGENERADORAS DE LA PIEL Y COSMETICAS, QUE UNA VEZ EXTRAIDO, SE PRESENTA COMO UN POLVO DE COLOR CAFE ROJIZO, AMARGO E INODORO, CUYO ANALISIS ESTRUCTURAL PRESENTA UN CONTENIDO EN C DEL 54-57%, EN H DEL 4,5-5,4% Y EN O DEL 36,5 AL 37,5%. EL PROCEDIMIENTO DE OBTENCION CONSISTE ESENCIALMENTE EN LA EXTRACCION POR MEDIO DE DISOLVENTES DEL PRINCIPIO ACTIVO CONTENIDO EN LA CORTEZA DE MIMOSA TENUIFLORA PREVIAMENTE MOLIDA. COMO DISOLVENTES PREFERIDOS SE UTILIZAN CLOROFORMO, ETANOL Y AGUA, REALIZANDOSE EL PROCEDIMIENTO A TEMPERATURAS MODERADAMENTE ALTAS. EL PRINCIPIO ACTIVO ASI OBTENIDO ES UTIL COMO COSMETICO Y EN LA TERAPIA DE QUEMADURAS, RASPADURAS, ROZADURAS, LLAGAS, ECZEMAS, HERIDAS LEVES Y QUIRURGICAS Y PUEDE SER ADMINISTRADO EN FORMA SOLIDA O LIQUIDA, SON PREFERIDAS LAS SOLUCIONES ACUOSAS DE DICHO PRINCIPIO ACTIVO, ASI COMO LOS POLVOS ESPOLVOREABLES.
