CONSISTE EN PREPARAR UNA SECUENCIA TRANSPORTABLE DE ADN CAPAZ DE DIRIGIR UNA CELULA HOSPEDANTE CULTIVADA PARA PRODUCIR UNA PROTEINA CON AL MENOS ALGUNA ACTIVIDAD DE HEMOGLOBINA, INTRODUCIR DICHA SECUENCIA EN UNA CELULA HOSPEDANTE CAPAZ DE EXPRESAS DICHA PROTEINA, PARA LO CUAL SE CLONA DICHA SECUENCIA EN UN VECTOR CAPAZ DE TRANSFERIRSE A LA CELULA HOSPEDANTE Y REPLICARSE EN ELLA, CULTIVAR LA CELULA HOSPEDANTE EN CONDICIONES APROPIADAS PARA LA REPLICACION Y PROPAGACION DEL VECTOR Y LA EXPRESION DE LA PROTEINA, COSECHAR LA PROTEINA PRODUCIDA Y PERMITIR QUE ESTA ADQUIERA UNA ESTRUCTURA ACTIVA QUE LE CONFIERA ACTIVIDAD DE HEMOGLOBINA.
