EL INVENTO SE REFIERE A UN PROCEDIMIENTO DE ELECTROPULIDO PARA DESCONTAMINAR PIEZAS DE INSTALACIONES NUCLEARES. LOS INCONVENIENTES DEL PROCEDIMIENTO SON LA EXPOSICION A LA RADIACION DEL PERSONAL UTILIZADO EN EL DESCONTAMINADO DE PIEZAS Y EL PODER REDUCIR LOS COSTES TECNICOS Y DE FINANCIALES PARA REALIZAR LA DESCONTAMINACION. LA CARACTERISTICA IMPORTANTE DEL INVENTO ES QUE SE EMPLEA EN LA DESCONTAMINACION DE PIEZAS NUCLEARES DEIONATOS QUE SE ENRIQUECEN CON LOS ELECTROLITOS DE PULIDO, QUE ELEVAN SU CONDUCTIVIDAD Y SON ELABORABLES EN INSTALACIONES DE TRATAMIENTO DE AGUA EN LABORATORIOS. EN LA APLICACION EN CENTRALES ELECTRONUCLEARES PUEDEN ADICIONARSE AL DEIONATO AL ELECTROLITO QUE SE ENCUENTRA COMO MEDIO REFRIGERANTE PRIMARIO. EL INVENTO ES APROPIADO PARA LA DESCONTAMINACION DE PIEZAS DE INSTALACIONES NUCLEARES (CENTRALES ELECTRONUCLEARES).
