Abstract

Un procedimiento para preparar una composición de mortero corneal para emplear en la promoción de curación de heridas en la estroma corneal que comprende una materia de matriz extracelular seleccionada de entre el grupo consistente en fibronectina, colágeno, vitronectina, elastina, laminina, actina, fibrinógeno, sulfato de condroitina, heparina, sulfato de queratina y ácido hialurónico o su sal sódica yunamateria portadora oftalmológicamente compatible, teniendo dicha composición una viscosidad suficientemente alta para retener la materia de matriz extracelular en la herida estromal bajo condiciones de curación, preferentemente una viscosidad pastosa, cual procedimiento comprende la combinación de los componentes en una manera conocida per se.
