PARA LA FABRICACION DE CUERPOS MODELADOS DE CARBURO DE SILICIO INFILTRADO CON SILICIO, EN ESPECIAL TUBOS, SE TRANSFORMA UNA MEZCLA DE POLVO DE CARBURO DE SILICIO, AGLOMERANTE ORGANICO Y EVENTUALMENTE CARBONO EN UN CUERPO VIRGEN ALARGADO CON FORMA CILINDRICA, SE ELIMINA EL AGLOMERANTE DEL CUERPO VIRGEN EN UNA ATMOSFERA NO OXIDANTE POR COQUIZACION A 1000 C APROXIMADAMENTE Y EL CUERPO BRUTO OBTENIDO SE TRATA CON SILICIO POR MEDIO DE LA ACCION DE SILICIO LIQUIDO CON TEMPERATURAS DE, AL MENOS, 1400 C. DURANTE EL TRATAMIENTO CON SILICIO DESCANSA EL CUERPO BRUTO SOBRE UN SOPORTE POROSO DE SISIC, QUE SE HALLA EN CONTACTO CON EL SILICIO LIQUIDO.
