DISPOSITIVO PARA LA ESTANQUEIZACION DE UN CILINDRO ROTATIVO, QUE CONDUCE FIBRAS, DE UNA MAQUINA PARA LA ELABORACION DE HILATURAS, POR EJEMPLO, CARDAS, ALIMENTADORAS DE CARDA O LIMPIADORAS, EN EL QUE ENTRE SUPERFICIES FRONTALES DEL CILINDRO, TAMBOR O SIMILAR, Y PAREDES LATERALES FIJAS SITUADAS FRENTE A ESTAS, QUEDA UN ESTRECHO INTERSTICIO QUE GARANTIZA EL LIBRE MOVIMIENTO DE ROTACION DEL CILINDRO, Y EN EL QUE EXISTE UNA EMPAQUETADURA PARA ESTANQUEIZAR LATERALMENTE EL CILINDRO CON RESPECTO A LAS PAREDES LATERALES. CON EL FIN DE POSIBILITAR UNA ESTANQUEIZACION SEGURA Y SIN PERTURBACIONES DEL CILINDRO CON RESPECTO A LAS SUPERFICIES LATERALES, EXISTE UNA EMPAQUETADURA QUE ES DE UN MATERIAL DESLIZANTE Y RESISTENTE AL DESGASTE, Y LA SUPERFICIE LATERAL DE LA EMPAQUETADURA, CONTRARIA A LA SUPERFICIE LATERAL ESTANQUEIZANTE, ESTA EN INTERVENCION CON UN ELEMENTO ELASTICO BLANDO.
