EL INVENTO SE REFIERE A UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA EL BLANQUEADO DE PULPA USANDO UN PRODUCTO QUIMICO BLANQUEADOR OXIDANTE QUE CONTENGA CLORO. LAS CARACTERISTICAS ESENCIALES DEL INVENTO SON QUE EL PRODUCTO QUIMICO USADO EN LA ETAPA DE OXIDACION TIENE UN CONTENIDO DE DIOXIDO DE CLORO DE AL MENOS EL 50%, QUE LA PULPA SE SOMETE A UN TRATAMIENTO DE ENZIMA TANTO EN CONJUNTO CON EL OXIDANTE O ANTES DE LA OXIDACION, Y QUE, DESPUES DE LA OXIDACION Y EL TRATAMIENTO DE ENZIMA, LA PULPA SE TRATA CON UN ALCALI. EL USO DE ENZIMAS REDUCE LA CANTIDAD DE CLOROFENOLES Y OTRAS FORMAS DE CLORO LIGADO ORGANICAMENTE EN EL LIQUIDO DE BLANQUEADO USADO, HACIENDO DESCENDER SIMULTANEAMENTE SU DEMANDA DE OXIGENO QUIMICO.
