LA INVENCION SE REFIERE A UN METODO PARA LA PRODUCCION DE ACERO INOXIDABLE QUE CONSISTE EN TRATAR, EN UNA PRIMERA ETAPA, UN ACERO RICO EN CARBONO BRUTO CON UNA MEZCLA GASEOSA QUE CONTENGA OXIGENO Y GAS INERTE, CON LO QUE DISMINUYE EL CONTENIDO DE CARBONO DEL ACERO BRUTO A UN VALOR ENTRE UN 0,2 Y 0,1%. A CONTINUACION SE TRATA, EN UNA SEGUNDA ETAPA, EL BAÑO DE ACERADO CON UN GAS INERTE SOLAMENTE, HASTA QUE EL CONTENIDO DE CARBONO DESCIENDA AL VALOR DESEADO. LA INVENCION SE CARACTERIZA PORQUE EL BAÑO DE ACERADO SE TRATA EN LA PRIMERA ETAPA CON UN GAS RICO EN OXIGENO Y CON UN GAS INERTE ALTERNATIVAMENTE, HASTA QUE EL CONTENIDO DE CARBONO DEL ACERO HAYA DESCENDIDO AL VALOR DESEADO.
