LA CARACTERISTICA ESENCIAL DEL INVENTO ES QUE LA PASTA ES TRATADA, JUNTO CON O ANTES DE LA OXIDACION, CON UNA ENZIMA MODIFICADORA DEL PROCESO DE OXIDACION-REDUCCION, COMO LA LACTASA PRODUCIDA POR LOS HONGOS BLANCOS. EL PRODUCTO QUIMICO EMPLEADO PUEDE SER DIOXIDO DE CLORINA O UNA MEZCLA DE ESTE Y GAS DE CLORINA. EL EMPLEO DE DICAH ENZIMA REDUCE LA CANTIDAD DE CLOROFENOLES Y OTRAS FORMAS DE ENLACES ORGANICOS DE LA CLORINA EN EL LIQUIDO RESIDUAL DEL BLANQUEADO, BAJANDO SIMULTANEAMENTE LA DEMANDA QUIMICA DE OXIGENO.
