LOS COMPUESTOS ESTABILIZADORES POLIMERICOS ESTAN FORMADOS POR UNA MATRIZ POLIMERICA ORGANICA, DE CARACTER PARAFINICO, QUE SE DERIVA DE UN POLIDIENO HIDROGENADO Y TIENE, AL MENOS, EN UN EXTREMO DE LA CADENA UNA FUNCION AMINICA IMPEDIDA ESTERICAMENTE. TALES COMPUESTOS ESTABILIZADORES POLIMERICOS SE OBTIENEN POR MEDIO DE UN PROCESO, QUE PROPORCIONA: (A) LA POLIMERIZACION DE UN DIENO, POR LA TECNICA DE POLIMEROS VIVIENTES, BAJO LA INFLUENCIA DE CATALIZADORES DE ALQUIL METAL-ALQUILO O ALQUIL METAL-ARILO, PARA PRODUCIR UN POLIDIENO QUE LLEVA EN EL EXTREMO DE SU CADENA UN ATOMO METALICO TERMINAL; (B) LA REACCION DE DICHO POLIDIENO QUE CONTIENE METAL, CON UN COMPUESTO AMINICO IMPEDIDO ESTERICAMENTE, QUE LLEVA EN SU MOLECULA UN GRUPO ELECTROFILICO, EN PARTICULAR UN GRUPO CARBONILO, RECTIVO FRENTE AL METAL DEL POLIDIENO; (C) LA HIDROGENACION CATALITICA DEL POLIDIENO QUE LLEVA LA FUNCION AMINICA IMPEDIDA ESTERICAMENTE AL EXTREMO DE SU CADENA.
