DICHO PROCEDIMIENTO CONSISTE EN: TRATAR UN ESTER DE ACIDO INDONICO CON UN ESTER HALOGENOALCOXI DEL ACIDO BUTENICO; SAPONIFICAR EL ESTER DE ACIDO BIS-(ALCOXICABONILO)-ALCOXI PENTENICO PARA CERRAR EL ANILLO DE ALCOXI-CARBONILO-ALCOXI-CICLOPENTENONA Y DESCARBOXILAR LA ALCOXI-CARBONILO-ALCOXI-CICLOPENTANONA PARA OBTENER EL PRODUCTO FINAL.
