SE DESCUBREN SECUENCIAS DE DNA LAS CUALES SE USAN PARA LA SINTESIS DE CAROTENIDOS TALES COMO LICOFENO, (BETA)-CAROTENO, ZEASANTINA, O ZEASANTINA-DIGLUCOSIDA, ESTO ES, SECUENCIAS DE DNA CODIFICANDO ENZIMAS DE BIOSINTESIS DE CAROTENIDOS. ESTAS SECUENCIAS DE DNA SON LAS SECUENCIAS 1-6, RESPECTIVAMENTE, QUE SE MUESTRAN EN LA ESPECIFICACION.
