LOS CARBONATOS DIALQUIL PUEDEN SER FABRICADOS A TRAVES DE LA TRANSFORMACION DEL MONOXIDO DE CARBONO CON NITRITOS ALQUIL EN UNA REACCION GASEOSA CONTINUA, DONDE SE UTILIZA UN CATALIZADOR HALOGENURO METALICO DE PLATINO SOBRE OXIDO DE ALUMINIO, HIDRATOS DE OXIDO DE ALUMINIO O HIDROXIDOS DE ALUMINIO COMO PORTADORES Y EVENTUALMENTE CON UNA ADICION DE UN COMPUESTO DE ANTIMONIO, BISMUTO, ALUMINIO, COBRE, VANADIO, NIOBIO, TANTALIO, ZINC, HIERRO, COBALTO, NIQUEL O UNA MEZCLA MULTIPLE DE ELLOS SOBRE ESTE CATALIZADOR Y EN EL TRANSCURSO DE LA REACCION DE FORMA INTERMITENTE O ESCALONADA SE AÑADE UNA CANTIDAD DE FORMA CONTINUA DE HALOGENUROS AL MENOS CON UNA MEZCLA DE REACCION EN LA CANTIDAD SOPORTADA EN EL REACTOR.
