Abstract
LA INVENCION SE REFIERE A UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA REDUCCION DE DATOS EN EL PROCESAMIENTO DE UNA SUCESION DE VALORES DE SEÑAL CON FORMACION MULTIPLE DE DIFERENCIAS, AL MISMO TIEMPO, QUE ESTAS DIFERENCIAS SE CODIFICAN DE TAL MODO, QUE A LAS QUE POSEEN UNA MAYOR PROBABILIDAD DE APARICION SE ASIGNAN PALABRAS DE CODIGO MAS CORTAS QUE A AQUELLAS CON UNA PROBABILIDAD DE APARICION MENOR. LA CANTIDAD DE FORMACIONES DE DIFERENCIAS SE ELIGE DE TAL MODO, QUE LA LONGITUD MEDIA DE LAS PALABRAS DE CODIGO PARA LA CODIFICACION DE LAS DIFERENCIAS SEA MINIMA. CON ELLO SE OBTIENE EN EL PROCESAMIENTO DIGITAL DE VALORES DE SEÑALES UNA REDUCCION DE LA CAPACIDAD DE MEMORIA NECESARIA O DEL TIEMPO DE TRANSMISION. LA INVENCION SE UTILIZA EN APARATOS DE MEDIDA REGISTRADORES, EN ESPECIAL PARA LA SUPERVISION DE UNA RED.
