2.1. EL POLIOXIMETILENO (POLIACETAL) ES UN MATERIAL EXCELENTE, A PARTIR DEL CUAL SE FABRICAN OBJETOS DE UTILIZACION ESPECIALMENTE RIGIDOS CON ALTA EXACTITUD. SIN EMBARGO EL POLIOXIMETILENO ES SENSIBLE AL ACIDO. ES OBJETO DE LA PRESENTE INVENCION LA OBTENCION DE UN POLIOXIMETILENO, QUE ESTA ESTABILIZADO CONTRA ACIDO Y QUE PERMITE LA FUNDICION DE INYECCION DE CUERPOS DE MOLDE EN PARTICULAR DE ESTRUCTURA FINA O GRANO FILIFORME. 2.2. MEDIANTE LA ADICION DE CIANURATO DE MELANINA SE ESTABILIZA EL POLIOXIMETILENO CONTRA EL ATAQUE ACIDO, DONDE SON ACTIVOS EN PARTICULAR DE FORMA INFERIOR A TRES PARTES MCA SOBRE 100 PARTES POM. LA PERDIDA DE PESO DE UN POM ESTABILIZADO PUEDE ALCANZAR EN EL EFECTO ACIDO MENOS DEL 3% EN CONTRA DE UN POM NO ESTABILIZADO. 2.3 LOS CAMPOS DE UTILIZACION, EN LOS CUALES LOS PRODUCTOS SON EXPUESTOS A AGENTES ACIDOS, SON POR EJEMPLO INSTALACIONES DE LAVADO, INSTALACIONES DE ACLARADO, CAMPO SANITARIO.
