A CONTINUACION SE BUSCA A PARTIR DE LA COMBINACION DE LOS DOS DIAGRAMAS DE BARRAS (B1,B2) UN SEGMENTO (A) CON UN CONJUNTO COMPLETO DE POSICIONES SENSORAS (X1), EN EL CUAL EL NIVEL MAXIMO MAS ALEJADO POSIBLE ESTE EN EL CENTRO. PARA ESTE SEGMENTO (A) SE DETERMINA A CONTINUACION CADA VEZ UNA RECTA DE COMPENSACION (G1, G2). EL PUNTO DE INTERSECCION (S) DE ESTAS DOS RECTAS DE COMPENSACION (G1,G2) SIRVE PARA LA IDENTIFICACION DE LA POSICION DE LA FUGA (XL).
