Abstract
EL TRANS-1,4-POLIBUTADIENO ESTA NORMALMENTE SINTETIZADO UTILIZANDO CATALIZADORES DE METAL DE TRANSICION O DE TIERRAS RARAS. SIN EMBARGO EL CONTROL DE PESO MOLECULAR ES DIFICIL DE REALIZAR CON TALES CATALIZADORES Y EL PESO MOLECULAR DE POLIMERO PRODUCIDO ES FRECUENTEMENTE MUCHO MAYOR QUE EL DESEADO. UTILIZANDO EL SISTEMA CATALIZADOR Y LAS TECNICAS DE ESTA INVENCION, EL TRANS-1,4-POLIBUTADIENO PUEDE SER SINTETIZADO CONTINUAMENTE A UN MAYOR NIVEL DE CONVERSION SIENDO POSIBLE CON CONTROL DE PESO MOLECULAR. ESTA INVENCION SE REFIERE ESPECIFICAMENTE A UN PROCESO PARA SINTETIZAR TRANS-1,4POLIBUTADIENO POLIMERIZANDO UN MONOMERO DE 1,3-BUTADIENO EN PRESENCIA DE UN SISTEMA CATALIZADOR QUE CONSISTE EN UN COMPUESTO ORGANOSCOBALTO, UN COMPUESTO ORGANOALUMINIO, Y UN FENOL PARASUSTITUIDO CON PESO MOLECULAR CONTROLADO CONDCUIENDO LA POLIMERIZACION EN PRESENCIA DE AL MENOS UN SULFOXIDO DIALKILO, SULFOXIDO DIARILO O SULFOXIDO DIALKILO. TALES POLIMERIZACIONES PUEDEN SER CONDUCIDAS SOBRE UNA COLADA O UNA BASECONTINUA. EN EL CASO DE PROCESO CONTINUO, ES NORMALMENTE DESEABLE LLEVAR LA POLIMERIZACION EN PRESENCIA DE DISULFURO DE CARBONO COMO INHIBIDOR DE GEL.
