EL PROCESO CONSISTE EN FORMAR UNA DISPERSION ACUOSA DE DIOXIDO DE TITANIO A UN PH INFERIOR A 3 Y PREFERENTEMENTE MENOR DE 1 Y DEPOSITAR UN PRIMER REVESTIMIENTO DE UN OXIDO HIDRICO DE UN ELEMENTO QUE ACTUA COMO INHIBIDOR DE LA RUTILIZACION Y UN SEGUNDO REVESTIMIENTO DE UN FOSFATO SOBRE LAS PARTICULAS DE DIOXIDO DE TITANIO. EL PRODUCTO DEL PROCESO TIENE UN AREA SUPERFICIAL ELEVADA QUE QUEDA RETENIDA AL CALENTARLO DURANTE LARGOS PERIODOS DE TIEMPO A UNA TEMPERATURA ELEVADA.
