A TAL EFECTO, EN LOS POROS O CAPILARES DE LA CAPA CUBIERTA MICROPOROSA SE INTRODUCE ACIDO SILICICO EN FORMA DE UN LIOSOL DE ACIDO SILICICO, EN EL CUAL LAS PARTICULAS DE SIO SUB,2} DISTRIBUIDAS COLOIDALMENTE SON MENORES, AL MENOS EN UNA DIMENSION, QUE EL DIAMETRO DE LOS POROS O CAPILARES.
