LA PRESENTE INVENCION SE REFIERE A UN PROCESO PARA PRODUCIR GRANDES CANTIDADES DE ENZIMA ("GA")DE ACIDO 7BETA-(CARBOXIBUTANAMIDO)CEFALOSPORANICO, CUYO PROCESO CONSISTE EN HACER CRECER, BAO CONDICIONES DE CULTIVO APROPIADAS, UNA CEPA ESCHERICHIA COLI RECOMBINANTE Y K12 QUE EXTRAE A CONTINUACION LA ENZIMA DEL CULTIVO RESULTANTE. LA PRODUCCION DE ENZIMA SE CONTROLA POR UN SISTEMA DE EXPRESION PARTICULAR QUE PUEDE SER INDUCIDA POR UN LICOR DE REMOJO DE MAIZ, UN COMPONENTE DE COSTE EXTREMADAMENTE BAJO DEL MEDIO DE CULTIVO. LA ENZIMA PUEDE USARSE EN LA PREPARACION ENZIMATICA DE ACIDO 7-AMINO-CEFALOSPORANICO QUE SE INICIA A PARTIR DE ACIDO 7BETA(4-CARBOXIBUTANAMIDO)-CEFALOSPORANICO.
