ESTOS EPITOPES ESTAN PRESENTES EN LAS CELULAS B PORTADORAS PERO NO SEGREGADA, DE IGA, EN FORMA SOLUBLE DE IGA. LOS EPITOPES PUEDEN SER EXPLOTADOS PARA TERAPIA Y PROFILAXIS. POR EJEMPLO, LOS ANTICUERPOS ESPECIFICOS PARA LAS EPITOPES ASOCIADOS CON LOS PEPTIDOS DE ANCLAJE QUE COMPRENDEN UNA EPITOPE DE DOMINIO IGA PUEDEN SER UTILIZADOS PARA INCREMENTAR LA PRODUCCION SEGREGADORA DE IGA CON OBJETO DE TRATAR A PACIENTES CON ENFERMEDADES INFECCIOSAS Y ALERGICAS.
