ESTA INVENCION SE REFIERE A LA ABSORCION DEL DIOXIDO DE CARBONO A PARTIR DE UN GAS INDUSTRIAL, UTILIZANDO UNA SOLUCION DE CARBONATO DE POTASIO QUE CIRCULA EN UN CIRCUITO PARA PRODUCIR BICARBONATO DE POTASIO, EN PRESENCIA DE DIETANOLAMINA COMO CATALIZADOR Y VANADATO DE POTASIO COMO INHIBIDOR DE CORROSION, SIENDO LUEGO EL DIOXIDO DE CARBONO DESORBIDO EN EL CIRCUITO. LAS SALES POTASICAS DE ACIDO ORGANICO SE ACUMULAN EN EL CIRCUITO, SE EXTRAE UNA PARTE DE LA SOLUCION ACUOSA DEL CIRCUITO EN FORMA DE CORRIENTE LATERAL, SE DILUYE EN UN DILUYENTE ACUOSO Y SE PASA ESTA SOLUCION ACUOSA DE SALES POTASICAS DE ACIDO ORGANICO A TRAVES DE UNA MEMBRANA SEMIPERMEABLE PARA ELIMINAR LAS SALES POTASICAS DE ACIDO ORGANICO DE LA CORRIENTE LATERAL.
