Abstract

De acuerdo con la presente invención, se describen una composición aplicada por electrodeposición y un procedimiento de electrodeposición que utiliza la composición. La composición aplicada por electrodeposición comprende (a) una resina activa que contiene hidrógeno y un grupo de sal catiónica aplicada por electrodeposición en un cátodo; (b) un agente de tratamiento poliisocianato cubierto; y opcionalmente, (c) un catalizador que contiene metal. El agente de tratamientopoliisocianato cubierto comprende un poliisocianato cubierto al menos parcialmente con un material que presenta la estructura (I):en la que n es un número de 1 a 10; m es un número de a1 a 10 y R es hidrógeno o un grupo arilo o alquilo o alquil sustituido o un grupo arilo que tiene entre aproximadamente 1 a 30 átomos de carbono.
