Abstract

Capó de motor (1) para automóviles, que para la protección de peatones en caso de una colisión con el automóvil presenta una zona deformable (2) de choque con la cabeza, estando el capó de motor (1) construido de dos o más cubiertas, de las cuales la cubierta exterior situada por fuera representa el lado exterior del capó de motor como contorno del automóvil, y de las cuales al menos una de las cubiertas interiores situadas por dentro está unida como cubierta de refuerzo con la cubierta exterior, y estando el capó de motor (1) unido con la carrocería o situado sobre ésta por medio de apoyos colocados en sus regiones de borde como charnelas del capó, cerraduras y amortiguadores de tope, caracterizado porque el capó de motor (1) en la región de la zona (2) de choque con la cabeza presenta las siguientes rigideces a flexión: - junto a las regiones de apoyo (4) predominantemente menor o igual a un primer valor B1, - en el centro predominantemente mayor o igual a un segundo valor B2, y - en las regiones intermedias predominantemente mayor que el valor B1 y menor que el valor B2, siendo B2 mayor que B1.
