EL METODO SE CARACTERIZA POR ELEVAR LA TEMPERATURA DEL MEDIO EN UN COMBUSTOR REGENERATIVO (8), POR EJEMPLO, UN DISPOSITIVO DE COMBUSTION DE FLUJO INVERSO EN DONDE LA COMBUSTION TIENE LUGAR EN UNA ZONA CALIENTE, HASTA LA TEMPERATURA DE COMBUSTION, A LA QUE PRACTICAMENTE TODA LA ENERGIA QUIMICA DE LAS SUSTANCIAS COMBUSTIBLES SE TRANSFORMA EN ENERGIA TERMICA.
