Abstract

Timón para buques de navegación marítima, constituido por un timón principal, y una aleta unida al mismo por articulación y guiada forzadamente a través del timón principal, mediante una biela flotante que articula sus extremos, respectivamente a un bulón situado en la prolongación superior de la aleta, y a un punto fijo del casco, consiguiendo con este mecanismo que permite el movimiento de las dos partes con suficiente grado de libertad, sin utilización de deslizaderas. El movimiento forzado en sentido diferente al deseado se elimina mediante un bulón solidario del voladizo de la aleta y un tope fijo al casco.
