Abstract

Un procedimiento para calibrar un dispositivo de medida de velocidad o distancia para un vehículo (1) que está provisto de un generador (2) de impulsos de emisor para generar impulsos (p) relacionados con la distancia recorrida por el vehículo, teniendo dichos impulsos (p) de emisor una frecuencia relacionada con la velocidad del vehículo (1) o la distancia recorrida por el mismo, comprendiendo el procedimiento las etapas de: proporcionar un trayecto (4) que tiene una longitud predeterminada entre marcadores (5, 6) de inicio y terminación; y, hacer que el vehículo (1) se desplace entre los marcadores (5, 6) de inicio y terminación y contar el número de impulsos (p) completos de emisor producidos por el generador (2) de impulsos de emisor; caracterizado porque el procedimiento comprende las etapas de determinar cualquier fracción (A) de una longitud (B) de impulso que se produce entre el marcador (5) de inicio y el primer impulso (p1) completo de emisor; determinar cualquier fracción (C) deuna longitud (D) de impulso que se produce entre el último impulso (pf) completo de emisor y el marcador (6) de terminación; y determinar el número de impulsos (p) completos de emisor y las fracciones (A, C) de impulsos de emisor que se producen cuando el vehículo (1) se desplaza entre dichos marcadores (5, 6); y, usar la información así determinada, con la longitud conocida de trayecto, para determinar un factor de calibración para el dispositivo de medida de velocidad/distancia del vehículo (1).
