Abstract

Procedimiento para la preparación de epotilón B y sus derivados de la fórmula general **(Fórmula)** en la que R significa un grupo metilo y R6 significa un grupo alquilo de cadena línea o ramificada con hasta 6 átomos de carbono, un grupo cicloalquil-alquilo con hasta 10 átomos de carbono, un grupo fenilo, 1- ¿ o 2-naftilo, heteroarilo, bencilo o metil-heteroarilo, caracterizado **(Fórmula)** porque un compuesto de la Fórmula general 3**(Fórmula)** en que PG3 significa un grupo protector de hidroxi y FG3 significa un grupo fenil-sulfonilo, se hace reaccionar con un compuesto de la Fórmula general 4**(Fórmula)** en que FG4 significa un átomo de yodo u otro grupo lábil y PG4 significa un grupo protector de hidroxi, para formar un compuesto de la Fórmula general 34-I **(Fórmula)** en que PG3 y PG4 tienen los significados precedentemente indicados, el compuesto de la Fórmula general 34-I se hace reaccionar con un compuesto de la Fórmula general 2, **(Fórmula)** en que PG21 y PG22 independientemente uno de otro significan en cada caso un grupo protector de hidroxi y R6 significa un grupo alquilo de cadena lineal o ramificada con hasta 6 átomos de carbono, un grupo cicloalquil-alquilo con hasta 10 átomos de carbono, un grupo fenilo, 1- ó 2-naftilo, heteroarilo, bencilo o metil-heteroarilo, para formar un compuesto de la Fórmula general 234 **(Fórmula)** en que PG21, PG22, PG4 y R6 tienen los significados ya indicados, y este compuesto de la Fórmula general 234 se hace reaccionar a través de las etapas **(Fórmula)** para formar el epotilón D o un derivado del epotilón D**(Fórmula)** y éste se transforma luego eventualmente por epoxidación en epotilón B (R = CH3) o un derivado del epotilón B**(Fórmula)**
