Abstract

Un método para caracterización de una población de polipéptidos cuyo método comprende: (a) poner en contacto una muestra que comprende polipéptidos con un primer agente de disociación para generar fragmentos de polipéptidos; (b) aislar uno o más fragmentos de polipéptidos, comprendiendo cada fragmento el término N o el término C del polipéptido a partir del cual se fragmentó; (c) identificar los fragmentos aislados por espectrometría de masas; (d) repetir las etapas (a)-(c) sobre la muestra utilizando un segundo agente de disociación que se disocia en un sitio diferente del primer agente de disociación; y (e) caracterizar uno o más polipéptidos en la muestra a partir de los fragmentos utilizados en las etapas (c) y (d).
