Abstract
Un neumático (1, 1¿) para camiones que comprende: dos talones (3, 3¿) destinados a estar en contacto con una llanta de montaje; una corona (2, 2¿) provista de una banda de rodadura (21, 21¿) que presenta una superficie de rodadura (22, 22¿) destinada a estar en contacto con el suelo durante la rodadura; dos costados (4, 4¿) que aseguran la unión entre esta banda de rodadura y los talones; una armadura de carcasa (5, 5¿) que se extiende de un talón al otro; una armadura de refuerzo (6, 6¿) de la corona situada radialmente en el exterior de la armadura de carcasa, comprendiendo esta armadura de corona al menos dos capas de trabajo (61, 62, 61¿, 62¿) provistas de refuerzos; una protuberancia (7, 7¿) que sobresale de al menos uno de los costados, estando limitada esta protuberancia por una pared superior (71, 71¿) radialmente en el exterior y una pared inferior (72, 72¿) radialmente en el interior, haciéndose la intersección de dichas paredes según una línea que une los puntos C situados axialmente lo más al exterior de dicha protuberancia, siendo el ángulo a, medido en un plano que contiene el eje del neumático, entre la dirección axial y una recta tangente a la vez al borde de la banda de rodadura y a la protuberancia, inferior a 45°, el neumático, visto en corte meridiano, está caracterizado porque: el punto de intersección C de los perfiles de las paredes superior e inferior (71, 72, 71¿, 72¿) de la protuberancia (7, 7¿) está situado a una distancia del plano ecuatorial XX como máximo igual a la mitad de la distancia L que separa los puntos M de los costados axialmente más alejados cuando el neumático es sometido a sus condiciones nominales de presión y de carga, y la distancia del punto C al eje de rotación es estrictamente superior a la distancia de dichos puntos M con relación al mismo eje; el perfil superior de la protuberancia corta al perfil del costado en un punto K, definido como la intersección del perfil exterior del neumático con la prolongación del perfil medio dela última capa de la armadura de corona; el ángulo ~ entre una primera recta D1 y una segunda recta D2 es superior o igual a 60°, estando definida la primera recta D1 como la recta que pasa por el punto K y tangente al perfil superior de la protuberancia y estando definida la segunda recta D2 como la recta que pasa por el punto K y tangente al perfil del costado que prolonga radialmente hacia el exterior el perfil superior de la protuberancia a partir de dicho punto K.
