Abstract

Un procedimiento para multiplexar una pluralidad de flujos de datos sobre un flujo de datos para su transmisión en un sistema de comunicaciones, comprendiendo: la recepción de un conjunto de combinaciones de tramas de transporte de una red; la recepción de la mencionada pluralidad de flujos de datos desde una pluralidad de fuentes de datos, cada flujo de datos comprendiendo bloques de datos, incluyendo un número de bits de datos, siendo denominados los bloques de datos como tramas de transporte; la selección de una combinación de tramas de transporte (TFC) del conjunto recibido en base a si al menos una TFC del conjunto recibido se puede rellenar con los bits de datos de la mencionada pluralidad de flujos de datos sin introducir un bloque de relleno; y la multiplexación de los datos de la mencionada pluralidad de flujos de datos sobre un mencionado flujo de datos en forma de múltiples tramas de transporte configuradas como la mencionada combinación de tramas de transporte seleccionada.
