Abstract
Cinta viscoelástica apta para ser convertida en un separador de dos láminas vítreas, entre las cuales es, colocada, caracterizada por el hecho de que su composición comprende una mezcla de substancias poliméricas de diferentes pesos moleculares, tiene una viscosidad a 80°C de 40 000 a 120 000 poise, una resistencia a la tracción de al menos 0, 5 kg/cm2 y un alargamiento a la rotura que rebasa 700%, y es curable mediante calentamiento por debajo de 1000C para formar una tira separador que tiene una resistencia a la tracción de al menos 4 kg/cm2, un alargamiento a la rotura por encima de 50% y una permeabilidad al agua del material polimérico de menos de 0, 2 g. de agua por metro cuadrado de superficie, por 24 horas, por milímetro de espesor de material y por centímetro de mercurio de presión.
