Abstract
Una espuma de aislamiento térmico que comprende una pluralidad de celdillas de polímero y una composición contenida en al menos una de dichas celdillas, comprendiendo dicha composición al menos un agente de soplado que comprende HFCO-1233zd (1-cloro-3,3,3-trifluoro-propeno).
Claims (14)
1. Una espuma de aislamiento térmico que
comprende una pluralidad de celdillas de polímero y una composición
contenida en al menos una de dichas celdillas, comprendiendo dicha
composición al menos un agente de soplado que comprende
HFCO-1233zd
(1-cloro-3,3,3-trifluoro-propeno).
2. La espuma de aislamiento térmico de acuerdo
con la reivindicación 1, en donde la espuma es una espuma de
celdillas cerradas.
3. La espuma de la reivindicación 1, que tiene
un factor k (BTU in/hr ft^{2}ºF) a 40ºF (4,4ºC) no mayor que
aproximadamente 0,14 (0,0202 W/m.K), preferiblemente no mayor que
0,135 (0,0194 W/m.K), preferiblemente no mayor que 0,13 (0,0187
W/m.K).
4. La espuma de la reivindicación 1, que tiene
un factor k (BTU in/hr ft^{2}ºF) a 75ºF (23,9ºC) no mayor que
aproximadamente 0,16 (0,0230 W/m.K), preferiblemente no mayor que
0,15 (0,0216 W/m.K), preferiblemente no mayor que 0,145 (0,0209
W/m.K).
5. La espuma de la reivindicación 1, en donde la
espuma es una espuma de poliuretano, una espuma de poliisocianurato
o una espuma fenólica.
6. La espuma de la reivindicación 1, en donde el
agente de soplado consiste en HFCO-1233zd.
7. La espuma de la reivindicación 1, en donde el
HFCO-1233zd está presente en el agente de soplado en
cantidades de aproximadamente 5% en peso a aproximadamente 95% en
peso del agente de soplado.
8. La espuma de la reivindicación 1, en donde el
HFCO-1233zd es
cis-HFCO-1233zd.
9. La espuma de la reivindicación 1, en donde el
HFCO-1233zd es
trans-HFCO-1233zd.
10. La espuma de la reivindicación 1, en donde
la composición comprende adicionalmente al menos un agente de
cosoplado.
11. La espuma de la reivindicación 1, en donde
el al menos un agente de cosoplado se selecciona del grupo
constituido por agua, CO_{2}, CFCs, HCCs, HCFCs, alcoholes
C1-C5, aldehídos C1-C4, cetonas
C1-C4, éteres C1-C4, y
combinaciones de dos o más de estos.
12. Una espuma de aislamiento térmico de acuerdo
con cualquiera de las reivindicaciones anteriores, en donde la
espuma es una espuma termoendurecible que exhibe conductividad
térmica mejorada con relación a las espumas fabricadas utilizando
el mismo agente de soplado en la misma cantidad pero sin
HFCO-1233zd
(1-cloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropeno).
13. Un método de proporcionar una espuma de
aislamiento térmico de acuerdo con cualquiera de las
reivindicaciones anteriores, comprendiendo dicho método (a)
proporcionar una composición de agente de soplado que comprende al
menos un agente de soplado que comprende HFCO-1233zd
(1-cloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropeno);
(b) añadir la composición de agente de soplado a una composición
susceptible de transformarse en espuma; (c) hacer reaccionar la
composición susceptible de transformarse en espuma para formar una
espuma o estructura alveolar.
14. Uso de HFCO-1233zd
(1-cloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropeno)
para mejorar la conductividad térmica de una espuma
termoendurecible de aislamiento térmico con relación a las espumas
fabricadas utilizando el mismo agente de soplado en la misma
cantidad pero sin HFCO-1233zd
(1-cloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropeno).
