Abstract
Piedra pómez granular, caracterizada porque la superficie está cubierta con un revestimiento hidrófobo, que se compone de un silano y de un siloxano, utilizándose como silano: A1) un silano de la fórmula general R3-Si-(OR2)3 siendo R2 un radical metilo o etilo y significando R3 un radical alquilo con 3 hasta 12 átomos de carbono o un radical aminoalquilo con 1 hasta 6 átomos de carbono, o un radical de la fórmula general H2N-(CH2)xR4-(CH2)y-, en la que R4 significa un radical de oxígeno, azufre, -NHo -NH-CH2-CH2-NH- y x es >= 2 e y es >= 2, o un radical de la fórmula general (R2O)3Si-(CH2)x-NH-(CH2)x-, R2 y x son como se han definido precedentemente, o y n significa un número entero de 1 hasta 5, por que como siloxano se utiliza A2) un siloxanol de la fórmula general siendo R5 un radical metilo o fenilo, pero siendo radicales metilo por lo menos un 90 % de los radicales R5 y siendo m >= de 20 a 250, y por que una muestra utilizada está compuesta a base de un silano según A1) y de un siloxanol A2), siendo mantenida la relación de A1) a A2) de tal manera que a un grupo SiOH del compuesto A2) le corresponden desde > 1 hasta 3 grupos OR2 del compuesto A1) y R2 es un radical alquilo con 1 hasta 4 átomos de carbono.

mortero con la productividad más grande, lo cual ha de ser atribuido a la propiedad hidrófoba de la piedra pómez y, resultando de ésta, de su desplazamiento de agua y de su distribución homogénea en la masa.
A continuación se midieron las densidades aparentes en fresco de las muestras amasadas. Ésta fue, en el caso de la muestra que contenía la espuma silicática, de 1,27 kg/dm3 y, en el caso de la segunda muestra que contiene la
5 piedra pómez no tratada, de 1,27 kg/dm3 y, en el caso de la muestra que contenía la piedra pómez conforme al invento, de 1,22 kg/dm3. Esto quiere decir que la muestra que contenía la piedra pómez conforme al invento tenía una densidad más pequeña.
En la siguiente etapa, apoyándose en la serie de ensayos para pegamentos de baldosas de acuerdo con la norma DIN EN12002, a partir de cada masa se constituyó un cuerpo de probeta en forma de un prisma de mortero, con el
10 fin de investigar el comportamiento de deformación del mortero. El respectivo prisma tenía una longitud de 160 mm, una anchura de 80 mm y una altura de 80 mm. Los prismas en cada caso producidos se secaron durante varios días y a continuación se midieron.
Los valores medidos individuales se reproducen, en común con las respectivas cantidades de los componentes utilizados de la masa, en la Tabla siguiente

15 Se midió por un lado el peso en seco de los cuerpos. Éste fue, en el caso del cuerpo de probeta que contenía la espuma silicática, de 229 g, en el caso del cuerpo de probeta que contenía la piedra pómez no tratada, de 227 g y, en el caso de los cuerpos de probeta que contenían la piedra pómez conforme al invento, de 223 g. Esto quiere decir que el cuerpo de probeta que contenía la piedra pómez conforme al invento era el más ligero de todos los cuerpos

Por lo demás se midió la densidad aparente en seco. Ésta fue, en el caso del cuerpo de probeta que contenía la espuma silicática de 0,224 kg/dm3, en el caso del cuerpo de probeta que contenía la piedra pómez no tratada, de 0,221 kg/dm3 y en el caso del cuerpo de probeta que contenía la piedra pómez conforme al invento, de 0,218
25 kg/dm3. Por consiguiente, el cuerpo de probeta que contenía la piedra pómez conforme al invento mostraba la más baja densidad aparente en seco.
