Abstract
Método de oxidación selectiva de al menos un oligosacárido, de una mezcla de ellos o de una composición que lo(s) contiene, haciendo reaccionar con oxígeno una solución acuosa del oligosacárido, de la mezcla o de la composición en presencia de un catalizador de oro formado por partículas de oro nanodispersas distribuidas sobre un soporte de carbono, de modo que un grupo aldehído existente en el átomo de carbono C1 del o de los hidratos de carbono se oxida selectivamente a un grupo carboxilo o bien un grupo aldehído introducido en el átomo de carbono C1 de una 2-cetosa se oxida selectivamente a grupo carboxilo.
