Abstract

Dispositivo electroquímico de almacenamiento de energía.#La presente invención se refiere a una batería de metal-aire que funciona a altas temperaturas, comprendiendo dicha batería un electrodo que contiene metal, en el que preferiblemente el metal está en estado fundido, sólido o semisólido; un electrodo de aire poroso que comprende un conductor de electrones e iones oxígeno mixto; y un electrolito de óxido sólido que es conductor de iones oxígeno y eléctricamente aislante, a métodos para su preparación y a su uso como fuente de alimentación de pequeños dispositivos así como fuente de alimentación para aplicaciones en automóviles y como dispositivo de almacenamiento de energía para aplicaciones en servicios públicos así como para aplicaciones electrónicas de potencia y en automóviles.
