Abstract
Proceso para la amidación de un 1-bromo-adamantano sustituido que comprende una etapa (0) de hacer reaccionar un adamantano sustituido con un exceso de bromo para obtener un 1-bromo-adamantano y una etapa (i) de hacer reaccionar dicho 1-bromo-adamantano sustituido con una amida o, cuando dicho 1-bromo-adamantano sustituido es un 1-bromo-alquiladamantano, hacer reaccionar dicho 1-bromo-alquiladamantano con urea o un derivado de urea seleccionado de N,N-dimetilurea, N,N-dietilurea, N,N-di-n-propilurea, N,N-diisopropilurea, N,Ndibutilurea, N,N-diciclohexilurea o tiourea, en el que el 1-bromo-adamantano sustituido se usa en forma de una mezcla que comprende bromo tal como se obtiene en la etapa (0), caracterizado porque, en la etapa (0), se emplea una razón molar de bromo:adamantano sustituido de desde [2,8:1] hasta [3,5:1], y en el que la temperatura de reacción de la etapa de amidación (i) no excede de 120ºC.
