Procedimiento para la isomerización de compuestos tricíclicosel cual comprende el tratar un isómeroo una mezcla de isómeros correspondientes que contengan uno de los isómeros en exceso sobre el otrode un compuesto de la fórmula general **(Ver fórmula)** en la cual X representa oxígeno o azufre e Y representa un grupo amino terciariocompuesto que está substituído asimétricamente por tener por lo menos un substituyentes nuclear aromático escogido en el grupo compuesto por alquilotrifluorometiloaralquiloariloalcoxiaralcoxiariloxialquiltioaralquiltioariltiohalógenoaciloaminohidroxilo y carbonilocon un reactivo ácido ysi se deseael convertir en la base libre la sal obtenida.
