Abstract
Un sistema protésico (70) para reemplazar una válvula cardíaca, comprende un cuerpo de válvula protésico (72) y una estructura de soporte anular (60) dentro de los cuales el cuerpo de válvula protésico puede expandirse hasta que encuentre oposición, el soporte anular se proporciona en dos o más segmentos del anillos (61, 62) que tienen medios de conexión terminales (63) para formar, en la condición de uso del sistema protésico, una estructura anular estable y duradera continua capaz de resistir la oposición ejercida por el cuerpo de válvula protésico, caracterizado porque cada uno de los dos o más segmentos del anillos puede insertarse de manera separada en una cámara cardíaca y puede interconectarse por medio de un sistema de conexión que comprende pasadores (55) y se adapta para acoplarse en agujeros correspondientes (56), en donde la estructura anular formada por la conexión de dos o más segmentos del anillos tiene formas y dimensiones predeterminadas, que coinciden sustancialmente con la anatomía del anillo de la válvula cardíaca, para que sea capaz de rodear la válvula de una manera continua, y en donde cada uno de los dos o más segmentos del anillos es hueco internamente para permitir el paso de al menos un alambre guía (46), los alambres guías emergen de los extremos de cada uno de los dos o más segmentos del anillos, sustancialmente en las posiciones del sistema de conexión.
