Abstract
El uso de una composición que incluye al menos una 3,4-propinoperhidropurina tricíclica seleccionada de GTX-2 y GTX-3, y un vehículo farmacológicamente aceptable, para la fabricación de un medicamento para tratar al menos una dolencia seleccionada de la fibromialgia, el dolor de articulaciones, el dolor posoperatorio, el dolor de cuello, el dolor de espalda y la cefalea tensional.

ELA-Max y ELA-Max 5 contienen un sistema de transporte liposómico de lidocaína al 4 % o 5 %. Este sistema de transporte presenta vesículas multilaminares que contienen varias bicapas lipídicas dispersadas en un medio acuoso. Los liposomas facilitan la entrada del anestésico hacia el interior de la piel y también pueden proporcionar una liberación sostenida.
5 El parche S-caine™ es un sistema de administración que utiliza un sistema de calentamiento activado por oxígeno para aumentar la tasa de administración del anestésico. Tal como puede observarse en la tabla 2, estas aplicaciones típicas en general requieren la aplicación de la formulación tópica al menos 30 minutos antes de comenzar cualquier procedimiento. La adición de las GTX reduce

La restalina o RESTYLANE® es un gel de NASHA ("Non-Animal Stabilized Hyaluronic Acid", ácido hialurónico estabilizado no procedente de animal) biodegradable transparente que se inyecta en la piel para añadir volumen a los labios y rellenar arrugas y pliegues. Se alistaron diez pacientes en un estudio abierto. Los pacientes necesitan cumplir criterios clínicos especificados.
10 Tras la evaluación y la admisión en el estudio, los pacientes reciben la toxina como se describió anteriormente. Dependiendo de la sintomatología y de los puntos dolorosos locales de cada paciente, el médico determina el número de puntos de infiltración, siguiendo el esquema general de sitios de inyección mostrado en la figura 1. Los diez pacientes indicaron un alivio completo del dolor, que comenzaba 20 minutos después de cada administración. Los pacientes recibieron un seguimiento durante un periodo de tres meses después de una única administración, y
15 solo 2 pacientes sufrieron una recaída con síntomas dolorosos a las 4 y 8 semanas después del tratamiento.

Se alistaron veinte pacientes en un estudio abierto. Los pacientes tenían que cumplir los siguientes criterios clínicos: tenían que ser pacientes crónicos que sufrían una cefalea tensional no vascular primaria al menos dos veces por
25 semanas, y debían de haber sido tratados previamente por este trastorno con analgésicos, relajantes musculares sistémicos, infiltración con corticoesteroides local, o antidepresivos. Tras la evaluación y la admisión en el estudio, el médico determina el número de puntos de infiltración para la toxina, básicamente siguiendo el esquema general de sitios de inyección descrito anteriormente con referencia a la figura 2.
Los resultados indican que los veinte pacientes indicaron un alivio completo del dolor, que comenzaba 20 minutos
30 después de la administración. Los pacientes recibieron un seguimiento durante un periodo de aproximadamente tres meses después de una única administración. Hasta la fecha, solo 4 de los pacientes han sufrido una recaída de dolor suave por cefalea tensional, de 4 a 6 semanas después del tratamiento.

35 se infiltra por vía intramuscular localmente en los músculos orbitales a través de 2 a 4 puntos de inyección. Pueden emplearse otros puntos de inyección local en otros músculos faciales, según lo determine el médico y/o según la gravedad de la patología en cada paciente. Cada punto de inyección recibe de 0,1 a 0,4 ml (de 10 a 40 unidades) de disolución de toxina, que contienen 100 unidades de actividad de la mezcla de GTX2/GTX3 por mililitro de disolución. El vehículo es cloruro de sodio al 0,9 % en disolución estéril sin conservantes. Esta dosis puede repetirse
40 cada 2-4 semanas, según lo recete el médico, o según las necesidades del paciente.
Se han tratado unos pocos voluntarios para el espasmo hemifacial. Dependiendo de la sintomatología del paciente, el médico determina el número de puntos de inyección (de 2 a 20).
La figura 3A muestra un paciente con espasmo hemifacial permanente que era resistente a la toxina botulínica A. Se administró la toxina GTX como se describió anteriormente. Después de dos minutos tras la inyección, los músculos
