Abstract

Un dispositivo para tensar, cerrar y cortar cintas de plástico para embalar, con una rueda tensora giratoria impulsada, y al menos una mordaza de fricción acoplada constantemente con el accionamiento, que puede ser oprimida por un elemento compresor contra uno de los extremos de la cinta que han de ser soldados entre sí mediante calor de fricción; y que es movida junto con dicho elemento en vaivén por encima del otro extremo de la cinta, caracterizado porque entre el accionamiento (13, 28, 35) y la rueda tensora (17) se halla dispuesto un acoplamiento gobernado (94) y un elemento de mando (93) accionado en función del momento de giro transmisible con el acoplamiento (94), que al ser alcanzado el momento máximo de giro, hace que el elemento compresor (24) actúe sobre la mordaza móvil de fricción (47).
