Abstract

Procedimiento para la obtención de variantes de plantas que presentan características mejoradas, caracterizado porque comprende las etapas siguientes: colocar y cultivar, en un medio nutricio sintético no morfogenico, los tejidos que resultan de la germinación de granos de una planta madre única, estando constituido dicho medio de cultivo, por una parte, por un medio de base formado de sales minerales, vitaminas, hierro y sacarosa y, por otra parte, por sustancias de crecimiento en cantidad suficiente para asegurar la formación de callos; transplantar los callos asi formados a un medio morfogenico constituido por el medio de base citado, cuyo contenido en sacarosa es diferente, y por sustancias de crecimiento; poner las plantas asi obtenidas en tiestos.
