Abstract
Procedimiento para la preparación de un producto base de supositorio vaginal para fines medicinales como soporte para un agente espermicida, consistente esencialmente en un material polímero sólido soluble en agua, que se derrite a temperaturas del cuerpo, un agente espumante operativo cuando el supositorio se disuelve en medio acuoso para generar un gas formador de espuma, y un agente estabilizante de espuma, caracterizado porque comprende la etapa de mezclar el material polímero con el agente espumante y un agente estabilizante de espuma comprendiendo un surfactante, que es eficaz para reducir la tensión superficial de agua a menos de 45 dinas por centímetro y lacto-albúmina, mientras el material polímero está en estado fluido o derretido y enfriando la fusión y formándola con moldes adecuados o formas para producir un producto supositorio moldeado, que es un sólido a temperaturas ambiente y que se caracteriza por tener el deseado contorno y por tener características mejoradas de estabilidad de espuma al ponerse en contacto con agua o fluido acuoso.
