Abstract
Un procedimiento para la fabricación de un cuerpo alargado de espuma resinosa sintética, termoplástica, alquenilaromática, con una dirección de la máquina y una dirección transversal, cuyo cuerpo define una multiplicidad de celdillas cerradas no interconectadas, que contienen un gas, las celdillas tienen un tamaño promedio de 0,1 a 1,2 mm, el cuerpo de espuma es de estructura celular generalmente uniforme y carece de discontinuidades, no presentando este cuerpo variaciones sustanciales del tamaño promedio de celdilla cuando se mide dicho tamaño promediando el diámetro de celdilla a través de la dimensión transversal mínima del cuerpo.
