Abstract
Procedimiento para producir un abrasivo revestido, según el cual un soporte, preferiblemente en forma de una cinta, se reviste con una primera capa aglutinante (capa de trabajo), a continuación se aplica el abrasivo, se seca la primera capa aglutinante y, si es necesario, se reviste el abrasivo con una segunda capa aglutinante (capa de apresto) y por último se secan las capas aglutinantes hasta la solidificación; caracterizado porque como abrasivo se emplean cuerpos abrasivos esféricos obtenidos dispersando los constituyentes de los cuerpos abrasivos, consistentes en granos abrasivos y una matriz aglutinante orgánica, en una fase disolvente orgánica, con lo cual los constituyentes del cuerpo abrasivo se mantienen en suspensión en la fase disolvente hasta que se forman esferas inherentemente estables, las cuales se separan luego de la fase disolvente orgánica y se secan.
